Mdanzig Fem Blueberry grow log
Ok I'm going to be doing a few runs of Mdanzig's Femished Blueberry seeds. I have 3 seeds germing now in the paper towel method that germed in 24 hours 3 of 3. I mixed about 1/4 strengh maxicrop seaweed in a gallon of water and wetted the seeds and paper towel(didn't soak seeds). Very fast germ at around 24 hours. Now they're ready to put in dirt. I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil....the seedling mix is a simple 70% ocean forest and 30% perlite mix...watered in the weak 1/4 strengh seaweed. The seeds are planted in this mix in very small 6 oz cups for seedling growth. The cups will be covered with baggies(for a humidity tent)for a day or so. They will also be under a flouro in seedling growth. There's really not much to show now but here's a few pics. I never ran Mdanzigs BB but I've ran almost everybody else's BB and I'm looking forward to growing out Mdanzig's Blueberry

Looking good so far. Are you only going to start with 3 plants?

Yes I'm starting 3 for now. I grow very big plants and transplant to 5 gal pots after the plants get some size on them. I don't really like to crowd alot of plants in a grow because they will grow into monster females in 5 gal pots. I do plan to start more of these Fem Blueberry after I get these 3 plants up and going...but I plan to have 3 very big blueberry lady's. I noticed most of the Blueberry grows of Mdanzig's seeds were grew in very small pots and rootbound. I grow alot bigger plants and don't really need to start 10 plants for this test grow. The pics will be posted soon there really not much to show yet...so lets wait a few days and I'll get some more pics going. My seedling room is around 75 degress with humidity at around 45%.....and there under 24 hrs of flouros at the time.

I do plan to run a few different grows of Mdanzig's fem Blueberry. So this won't be the only grow. I'm thinking of doing a SOG or doing a grow and flowering in smaller 3 gal pots. I want to grow it a few different ways in different size pots and see if the results are different or whatnot. These 3 ladys are just the start!!!!!!(to experiment with....because blueberry is sensitive and I need to dial in Mdanzig's BB for optimum results!!!!)

I'm also watching this one as I have a few of these breaking ground now. I can't grow trees, but if it's ok, I'll drop in some pics and text as things move forward. I found your lighting regimine, mentioned in another thread, interesting.
Good luck and plentiful harvest wv.... regards, hr. |

Yes anyone that wants to join in on the grow log is more than welcome. I'd like to see some more grows going of these fem BB. Highroller that lighting method is dutch passions method for fem seeds. I'm not sure if I'll use it this grow or not. I've had great results with fem seeds using alot of different lighting methods including dp's. Does anyone have any of these fem BB that are flowering at the time?....I'd like to see more growers running these
