Jems and some stinkies vegging it up
What up everyone just wanted to start a thread for crazy on some mossy's jems and lemon stinkies. They popped in the rapid rooters 18 days ago. 12/15 jems made the cut and 4/5 stinkies popped up. Great germ rates and i know i could have germed them all i just need to get the ball rolling and was happy with the germ rates i already got.
Growing in my veg closet under a digital 400 watt mh. I will prolly throw in my hps though when the jems flower and i take cuts for my next indoor run. Not sure of the exact date on these. The stinkies are the bottom four in the pic Stinkies on the left jems on the right Here they are tonight at day eighteen in. The jems should be sexing soon. I have four in cups that popped a couple days after the first eight jems sprouted. Four on the left are the stinkies and the rest jems. Jems Stinkies. |

Mat- Hey man i am pretty impressed with the way the strains are growing so far. I can see where you were saying the stinkies will grow into single cola plants. Just so everyone knows i am running the stinkies to find a new mom for the stable. I needed a strain that will grow in an EnF sog style. My current strains tend to wanna branch out a lil bit.
Tolpan- Thanks for poppin in man. I am diggin on your stinkies dude. Pop in again. Expert- Liking the work you did the jems man. Yours had nice plump calyxes hope mine have the same. Ice- Cool deal man post a thread on the jems. I am knowing if you run them under that hps they will love it. I used to run all my AF's under a 600 watt hps. I hope this thread will be informative for you. |

Ok time for an update. I will try to update any time i take pics. Last night and today five males showed and there are for sure 4 females. Three are left to be sexed still. From my AF growing experiences the males show before females. Hope that is a good sign. I was planning on making some jem f2's but decided not to since i still have jem seeds in my seed collection. Sorry no pics of the males since they got tossed instantly. Here are shots of my two favorite females so far. They both have nice branching for an af.
Here are my four lemon stinkies soaking up the light. BTW i veg under a 24/7 light regimen. I am hoping for this to be a female. If it is male i am gonna make my first serious cross i think. I am loving the structure of this plant. Last edited by chubbynugs; 11-22-2008 at 09:18 AM.. |

There coming on nicely and congratulations on the fem jems .
You might want to get your light a little closer if you can looking at the internodes on the stinkys, there normally about 1-2cm between nodes.

Yer i did have the same problem and i've tilted the light on a slope at about 45*degrees with the taller plants at 1 end and the shorter plants the other end if you get what i mean and thats working quite well for the time being until i can find some tube holding clips for my other twin 55w lightwing as i snapped em both off changing the lamps.
