AF light schedules....

I have some 12/12 strains vegging along side my autoflowers. I want to change the current light schedule from 18/6 to 14/10 to sex the 12/12 strains so I can toss the males and open up some space. After the 14/10 strains show sex I want to bump up the light schedule back to 18/6 for my AF's.

So what I am asking has anyone done this w/o any harmfull after effects ? Or just what do think is going to happen ?

Mr.qewk is on a distinguished road
Has anyone of you done any testing using 24/0, 20/4 or 18/6 lighting regarding growth and yield?
AF don't require dark but could it on some level be beneficial to give them 1-6 hours of dark or does less light hours really equate less yield?

Thats another question really hard to answer when you don't have a strain that is not 100% stable in every sense of the strain. Its 100% AF but not 100% pheno stable so you get some bigger and some smaller plants.

The pictures above were grown under 2 65w CFL lights on a 24/7 schedule and did great. I did do a run under 18/6 using a 400w HPS and I got a much taller plant from 16 inches on the above plants to 26-28 inches using the 18/6 and 400w. But I only got a 25-35% increase in yield. But you have to consider that the 18/6 run was a later generation and it was from this run I found the real BlueBerry looking plant.
