A follow up on the mango haze inbred line: I am running 1 plant right now. I started with I think 9 seedlings. I managed to kill 5 with a fan when they were about 2 days above ground. It's been decades since I shot my foot so dead center. And 3 were males.
The 3 males from 4 plants tells me right off that they are NOT the same batch as the F1 packs as they were practically a female line. Around 80% female for me and the friend that passed them on to me. From a summer cleaning pack (around 80 beans) we both had roughly that rate. Now back to what Donald said, that they were the first step towards shorter flowering time. This one female was +2 months old and put into a 10.5/13.5 lighting schedule and still took 2 weeks to declare. A well prepared clone was swapped out for that plant a week ago. Now the show begins. I only popped them after reading a few grow reports that show them as more on the sativa end of the spectrum. I hope that is not TOO far off topic.
