Purple Power OUTDOOR THREAD!!!

Wanted to say hi all first post on ICMag forums. I won't be growing either of these strains for a little while, but am quite excited about them and wanted to learn more. Can you tell us the parentage of PP or if that's not cool then its cool I'm just trying to figure out a couple things for this summer's outdoor grow. Will height be a problem with this strain if I have about 8 feet to work with? Beyond that security becomes a concern. When would the best germ. date be if it were to grown (hypothetically of course) at about 45 degrees to fully utilize the space I have? What would the harvest date or close to it be?

I've also got some Grapefruit from FMS and will be doing a perpetual harvest with sog setup in the fall if Ferry thinks it's a good idea. About 9 psm? Love to see more about Female Seeds. Only heard a little and all the reliable reports have been fantastic. Peace.

Hi there,
Welcome to ICmag!
First of all the most important question you asked is about when to (hyperthetically) germinate the outdoor seeds. This would be at the end of April to the beginning of May at about 40 - 55 degrees.
If you sow too early, then there is a chance that they will flower at the beginning of May, and then they don't grow anymore.. The later you sow from the beginning of May, the smaller your plants will be. If you think your plants are growing too fast, then they can always be cut back/clipped at the end of June. They will then start flowering mid July to first of August and will be ready mid to end September.

The parentage of our PP is a cross of early flowering purple strains, that's why there is some variation, but they will all be purple to lavender.

As for the sog Grapefruit set up; is that outdoors? If so, then 9 psm is far too many plants.

First off thank you for your replies. Greenthumbz24o… I've got an extra memory stick just to take extra pictures of all my guerilla spots this summer.

The grapefruit will be for the fall indoors. 45 degrees was supposed to mean latitude. I was also curious if this strain just starts to flower after 8 weeks of veg. I really don't want them to get too large, but I'd like to fully exploit the 8 feet of head room I have outdoors and have never grown this strain before. Are there any pics floating around out there other than the two I've seen at seedbanks? I'd love to see pictures. As they say it really is worth a thousand words. Thanks again. Peace.

Theres 2 pics per strain on femaleseeds.nl . If you've allready been there I think there is a grapefruit thread on overgrow.com that shows pics of grapefruit and a few other FMS strains.
