Thumbs up Sorry but the sour bubble bubblehash really fecks me up!

Uh, gee whiz I kinda forgot to answer anyone last time didnt I?

Chuck, I appreciate the faith you place in BOG Seeds. You have always honored me and I want to thank you now. So you must have bid in the Lifestar auction to get them and I have some good news for you.

Lifestar Rocks! It is more than worthy at any price. My efforts with sour bubble have caused me to say less about Lifestar but I am very excited to send some of these out through Gypsy and seedbay. There are only 1200 of them and they are the first bx seeds shown to produce some very stout indica plants of great vigor. I will be demonstrating them very soon as I have many going along with a huge mother plant now in a 7 gallon pot. I will have second bx Lifestar seeds done in about 3 months. Have a look at some finishing Lifestar buds from the clone mother. Expect something special Chuck and consider it recompense for your friendship. Whatever you paid I guarantee your satisfaction as always.

On the trichomes I generally take all my plants at about the same stage. Heads still round and on the stalks mostly with most cloudy. Strains differ on the amber but I feel that by the time the colas look kinda yellow instead of real white overall that the cola is past peak. However people vary in taste and some like the late high of a strain while others prefer the early one. My strains tend to be very good at an early stage but get much stronger if taken longer in general. As Soma states, most growers dont flower long enough and they dont clear with plain water long enough. I take what he says as gospel so I still learn from this master of cannabis. His lectures always teach me something.

But perhaps you could even learn something from this dummy...

Lifestar is rising in the west which is an unusual direction...some day the whole world will see the child my son and I have now created. Our new monster thanks Paradise Seeds for the Sensi Star. (last pic) BOG

Sensi Star is a wonderful lavender smelling tight bud that smokes very smooth and it took third indica in this years 420 cup breeders division.

Yeah they are kinda crammed in with some others in flower and all 6 will be shown soon as harvest is coming within a week now as it is 8 weeks flowering now and about time for last pics and dark time for the 2 demo plants. The other 4 are 7-10 days behind them and not quite as large but doing well also. New pics to come soon. BOG

Cool 57 days finishing Sweet Cindys

The other ones are a week behind in flower but I have a pic of them somewhere I took last week for you. First let me show you the final outcome of the 2 demo plants because the difference is HUGE!

I must admit my old way was my best way so get some cheap pots to cut the bottom 2 inches off of and save those bottomless pots for next time so you dont have to cut off any more than you need to. When you transplant place the rootball in the cut pot as a sleeve to keep the rootbal intact and above the wider lower soil pot. I believe the remarkable difference here is mostly from the method difference but the bigger plant was always a tiny bit better from the start and these 2 were the best ones. the others stayed short and fat cola'd and all frosted up nicely after the 8th week. Probably a 55-60 day flowering time given this method. They are ready for dark time but the double potted one is getting a couple half days taking her to 60 days flowering. This other smaller demo plant is smaller but done first. Perhaps double potting encourages rooting more than normal or elevated transplanting and so it takes a bit longer to stop growing and to flower out. The difference in yield was certainly worth it as the two plants are approx 3 and 5 oz dry by my estimate. Quite a difference eh?

Don't believe me but try double potting for yourself. BOG

Last pic is of a lower top on the big one and you can see it needs a couple more days yet...ain't she pretty and this plant smells like candy for sure and somewhat lemoney. BOG

Same concept B is me and Soma does a similar thing with his flowering grow beds he transplants several plants into. The idea is the root structure more spread out with more air able to get into at least the upper root system. I discovered this quite by accident but the phenomena is something worth teaching others who wish to increase their yields. It's a simple concept really. BOG

Cool OK...the second demo plant Sweet Cindy is Done

The others started a week later but I will get a total weight of the 6 plants with one being double potted and the rest transplanted normally. None were topped and all were vegged less than 7 weeks. The total amount of soil per plant was about 4 gallons and even the double potted plant that ended up much bigger really only had 4 gallons of total soil.

First look at the comparison of the plants in the darktime...

I lapped the double potted one above and behind the smaller demo plant. The yield difference is huge! Practically double by the looks. :eek!:

Now I will show you a couple pics under hps of the other finishing Sweet cindys. I was too lazy to move them so sorry about the pics.

They were smaller plants taking a bit longer to veg but they look to go about 3 oz each. My guess is that all six might yield up to about 20-22 oz of buds and the amount of wattage was 900 watts as the 4 have one 600 and the other two shared a 600 with the bogbubble and a lifestar so half of that is 900.

I may have gotten a gram per watt but I will let you know later.

This last pic is 25 day flowering bogbubble which I placed into flower before the rest as I have a couple different groups. She is just starting to put on some weight now. BOG
