Dual Demonstration of Bogbubble and SweetCindy by BOG. - Test Grows - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hello fellow growers and breeders of the future!

Today I begin this dual demo with my Sweet Cindy just entering flower and my Bogbubble 3 weeks into veg. These plants are all grown from seed to demonstrate the stability. None of the demo plants shown will ever be topped to show their natural structure.

First we have several Bogbubble in veg...

Note the slightly lighter green coloration compared to sour bubble and also note the similarity in these plants grown from seed. As you can see there is some variation with a couple looking more sativaish but all in all stable looking. These have been grown on 21/3 regular floros and now they are under a single 400 watt mh light.

Next have a peek in my 1600 watt hps flowering room...

These plants are in 2 gallon pots having been vegged 5 weeks and transplanted once under the same veg room lighting. They are now about 2 full days into 12/12 and I think I see a couple males starting to show sex already. In the last pic this is a single Sweet Cindy and most look pretty much the same as this one. Pretty nice isn't she? BOG

This demo is in real time from this point on and today is March 10th.

Uh oh males, cant have that now can we. Id wish you luck on the grow bog but honestly ya dont need it.

Check out my bogglegum trifolate at 3 weeks veg. Its a runt but if id know it was gonna be so pretty I wont have killed its twin. Not even close to being as bushy as the other two though. Must be the sativa pheno huh? What do you think bog?

Just an update on the m/f ratio. At one week flowering all are identified easily and we had 7 females with 8 males. Just under 50% and ya know I could have easily lied but 50% is average and it was pretty close. I am pleased that none appeared to have any hermie tendencies or mutations. All 7 of my females look quite similar and are growing fast. They will get transplanted very soon now that they are sexed and I may do the old double potting method for you to see on one. Where I cut the bottom of the 2 gallon pot off.

I think it may just have gotten off to a slower start but it looks healthy and not totally sativa. Wait and see if it turns our runty or not and take a clone. BOG
