i posted this question in my last update, and i am curious...

so i took some pix last night...

the untopped plants seem to be experiencing a deficiency...calcium/magnesium i think...the topped plants are not showing the same look, they look very healthy...all 10 are being treated exactly the same (except for the topping)...
i am attempting to correct what i think is a deficiency with a feeding of veg nutes and a shot of cal-max both at full strength.

here are a few pix:

enjoy the World Series!
i tried to post the question in the Breeders' section, but it is locked...if you feel it provides any value, please move this thread into the appropriate forum.

if this topic has been covered, please send me a link, as i am intrigued as to why half of the plants would behave in one way, and the other half would behave differently. i understand there are many variables at work here, but i have done my best to give all 10 exactly the same regimen of abuse...

thanks for satisfying my curiosity.

Hey Sleepy here are 2 of my pommelo's showing the same symptoms. Mine were not topped though. I'm using sensi-cal at 5 ml per gal. also I gave them a mild flush aweek ago and they seem to be slowly overcomming it but I'm not convinced.

Unhappy

krizznapp, we seem to be experiencing similar problems...

i wonder...do you re-use your soil/medium, like i do...(i think this may be my problem).

i also think i need to re-calibrate my pH meter...

i am not trying to place any blame on anyone but myself, i am more curious if topped plants use nutes differently than untopped ones.

by the way, mine are getting worse.

Yes Sleepy I re-use my soil mix also. Usually add more lime to it before re-using tho.

no the "procedere" of taking up their nutes stays the same with topped compared to untopped plants ... , only the topped one's taking up somewhat slower , coz of the missing foliage , the same is with plain water ... , just water/feed the topped plants a little less and the sign's of overwatering will vanish soon

thank you, fjällhöga!!

it seems my problem is from reusing my promix... i thought i had flushed it enough, but apparently, i hadn't...

these issues will be corrected with flushing and re-potting.

thank you for listening!

Sleepy, cant really help ya much, but I got a question about re-using the pro-mix. Do you add anything to it? Like more lime and mycorizzhae? Anything else I should think about adding? I use the Pro-Mix too and was wondering if I should add anything to it before I re-use the leftovers after I harvest. I might be able to slow down my trips to the store if I can squeeze an extra crop out by re-using it. I should only re-use well flushed soil too right?

Btw, your a great gardener man, Ive checked out a lot of your threads because you use the same stuff as me pretty much.

Digging everyones Cannacopia gear tester threads too.
