Coco and Humic acid

I've begun adding technaflora liquid humus to my nutes this week and I was wondering if any of the other coco heads are into Humic/Fulvic products.

What brand do you use?

What % Humic acid is it?

How much do you use?

Do you used it continuously?

Do you like it? Does it help?

Any warnings/ precautions?

The liquid humus is 15% humic acid from leonardite coal, I use 2ml per gallon, which is the low end of the bottle instructions. I'm not doing a side by side, and I've only been using it for 3 days so nothing to report so far, I'll let you know what I think when I have thoughts on it.

peace.

idk about percentages, but I used some off brand and I'm sure it help with any ph swings I had.

No one thing in growing is the grail... we must pay due diligence to what is empirical and follow 2 rules: KISS and Less is more.

Does using fulvics/humics have any negative impacts when it comes to re-using the medium?

I use Millennium Ruby Fulvic,

No humic, and i Forgot the % of Fulvic, and its lights out at the moment.

I use the low end of the recommended dose whenever I need to drop the PH of my nutrient solution without using any more "ferts"

In veg I do, after the switch I use it sparingly, at the start of week three (this coming Wednesday by chance) I don't use it at all.

I love it. I don't know 100% that it does anything, but it works for the reason I use it plus i haven't seen any negative results.

The bottle warns not to use after the first part of flowering, I would imiagin its because this stuff makes the girls transpire pretty heavily, IE mold in the right conditions, I doubt this stuff would make your buds fall off or anything, but i've yet to pull myself to use it after the first 2 or 3 weeks.

Thanks for asking

You're welcome and thanks for the insight. I have heard that in can help with the flush for the same reason you don't want to use it in flowering....hmmmmmm.

Humates serve one purpose and one purpose only.

First off a humate is organic matter broken down the most it possible can. It provides Cation exchange sites for the exchange of nutrient ions between media and roots. It acts a chelation agent and makes nutrients available in unacceptable ph ranges... simple as that. You can't overdose with it, it wont effect your soil in any negative manner and there is really no need for any discussion further about it.

*bump*

I'm a coco user who is starting to experiment with fulvic and humic acids. I'm curious as to what anyone elses opinions are as well.
