grow-information-wise.....no site on the net can compete with ic mag (I think almost everyone who knows something about growing cannabis will agree with this opinion)

the only thing...imo...missing currently on ic mag is a good large thread with smoke reports from the dutch coffeshop scene...in one easy to read place...since this is the only information I ever look for on other cannabis sites

so I figure I will start one and maybe other folks after or during their trip can put up pics of the bud/hash from dutch coffeeshops and write a smoke report on each strain they smoked (most have to take notes to do this...and use a white paper with the coffeeshop and strain written next to the bud or hash when taking a pic)

anyway I will put up a few pics I took on my last trip and marked myself on the plastic baggie of my own...since I was smoking mostly amnesia haze while there...I could not write anything but these letters on the baggie...but next time I will take notes...since my tolerance should be a little higher after smoking all the bud I brought back home with me (won't say how much...lol)

i appologize for not writing long smoke reports on these buds....but since I was too ripped to remember anything....what I write will not be objective...since I have no notes (promise all my future reports will be made used notes and will give full detail of what I experienced)

these pics were made the first day...before I started toking big time...after which I was in a daze for ten days...but what a pleasure it was...something I plan on doing at least three time a year starting with ic mag cup 2009...since amsterdam is only 1.5 hours flight from where I live...it should not be a problem

i might fly down in december 2008...to take a small vacation and rest from this freaking financial global crisis...just to sit in the coffeeshops, toke and make plans for the 2009 year...businesswise...it pays off to change the scene in your life by getting away from the daily rat race...and for me holland is the number one choice for this....and number two choice also...and so on...lol)

anyway, this is my favorite coffeeshop to chill most of the time while in holland...and overall imo...the best way to stay in the netherlands...is to find a hotel in haarlem and just take the tram to amsterdam whenever that is neccesary...since it is nice to get away from the amsterdam scene to get all your thoughts together...lol...for me at least...amsterdam shocks the shit out of me everytime I am there...and haarlem is so layback...works for me...recharges the batteries for the next day amsterdam coffeeshop crawl



the last two trips (summer 2007 and late spring 2008) that is what I did...used haarlem as my base camp...because I found an excellent place to park my car in the residential section of haarlem not far walking distance from my hotel room...and drove it only in the mornings when I was straight...to check out some of the ocean views in the beautiful small towns along the coast of holland (but these were quite short...because the bud and hash was calling me back to the haarlem and amsterdam coffeeshops big time)

anyway, this is a pic made of a few baggies together while I was high on some amnesia haze in my sativa hotel room above the sativa coffeeshop (which is open once again...by the way...for anyone who will be visiting haarlem) I took the buds out of the original coffeeshop baggies and put in some baggies purchased in a head shop in amsterdam (these are about 2 gram baggies) and my purchases were all 5 gram of each of these strains


the infamous amnesia haze from indica shop in haarlem (best sativa high ever...for me...six to eight hits of this sets me straight for 4-5 hours...with an amazingly smooth and easy comedown...as if I didn't smoke at all) Meaning that every time.....its time for another 6-8 hits...lol


hawaaiin snow from greenhouse united (ok taste.....good head high)


chocolope from amnesia (great taste...amazing sativa high...and the second most beautiful crystal covered bud after amnesia haze)


pink kush from amnesia (bought for wife...I do not like indicas)


there were many more strains that I bought and smoked....its just that after I started toking non-stop....I forgot about taking photos or writing anything...and was just flying in my little sativa high world for the whole ten days I was in the netherlands (the first trip in summer of 2007, I also stayed for ten days...but did not take pics...i guess because I was even more baked than the second time)

I drove down to holland in my car both trips...and took a few presents back home for myself and the wife (both times)...to build up my tolerance for the next trip...didn't work out very well...since I got just as ripped the second trip...the only difference was that I smoked from a glass steamroller the second time...taking three hits and waiting twenty minutes to see what happens...from each bud and hash

the first time I just rolled huge pure joints and toked them to the end...lol...was amazingly high...of course...but I could not do anything but sit and trip out on everything around me...smoked mostly white strains and sativa strains like kali mist...and super silve haze (didn't know much about strains at that time...it was before i found ic mag)

Currently I consider having a small glass pipe...and taking single hits the best way to smoke bud and hash in holland...this way you can take a few tokes...see what happens from each strain or hash...and then if you can handle it...roll joints...or do whatever you like...because not everyone can handle the buds and hash in holland

people who grow their own excellent herb...of course can handle it...with no problem (some even complain that it is low quality...of course they mean compared to their own) but the average person who buys from dealers where they live...will get wasted smoking most of the good weed and hash from the top coffeshops

which include...imo of course...grey area, the green place, all three damprkring (dampkring, de tweede kamer, pink floyd), barneys (barney's, barney's lounge, amnesia), katsu, bluebird, and last but not least the greenhouse cofeeshops (especially united) in amsterdam

of course there are many more good coffeeshops...but quality and availability seems to be the best at these...from the many-many-many travel and smoke reports I read on here and other cannabis sites that have dutch coffeeshop travel reports

and in haarlem all three willie wortels (sativa, indica, sensimilla) coffeshops will provide all the bud / hash you can smoke...everything I bought from them has always been tops (cured well and not shaken) and all of the hash was very good too...even though I am not into hash that much...imported or ice...at this moment in my life....I will take a nice bud of amnesia haze...g13 haze...nyc diezel...lavendar...and many many more good strains over any hash...but I do have a low tolerance...maybe in the future I will smoke ice-hash...once I build up my tolerance
