Promix HP and AN nutes?
Thinking of switching to AN, not sure which base to use for straight promix HP for best yields.. they have so many additives, I don't think I need them all but judging from what I've read some of them are really popular, and since I'm not a nute pro I wouldn't even know which ones go well together, etc. Frying is bad, mmkay
Maybe one of their base plus B1, sensi cal, carboload, big bud - but then there's also overdrive, bud blood, barricade, voodoo... seems like using all of them might do more harm than good, at least at full strength. Any help would be appreciated, I wouldn't want to rely on a salesperson lol |

I would use either the 3 part or connie for a base, then calmag, bigbud and overdrive thats all you need.

Thanks. Would you use the 3 part at 1-1-1 as AN suggests? Seems a little off using the same ratio through veg and flowering... connie is too expensive lol I don't want to spend 3k a year on nutes

conni a & B big bud over drive carbo load
imo sensi a & b offer no benefit over gh or other bases 1 gallon each of conni a & b has feed 50 plants for a harvest and the bottles are at least half full AND it was still to aggressive its much stronger than sensi a & b in promix i use 50 mil per 5 gallons max i used it the day i put the girls in 12.12 I only vegged 10 days of because i know connie causes mad stretch and I figured let em stretch just flip em early and save some time worked liek a charm Last edited by ureapwhatusow; 10-16-2008 at 11:32 PM.. |

Thanks for the replies at any rate. So far from what I've read and from your replies I'll probably use Promix HP with added perlite and a bit of lime.
Definitely Big Bud, Overdrive, Carboload, and some cal-mag when it's needed - do I even need cal-mag if using the 3part? If so wtf is in the micro bottle lol Given that my medium is devoid of nutrition, does that sound like a complete fert list? I'm reading that I should feed once a week, my pots tend to dry out after 2 days (8" pots I think are 4 liter, I give about 1L every watering). So I would be doing 1 feed and 2 plain waterings per week - that sound right? I'll look for more threads about recommended dosage but am open to advice on that too ![]() cheers |

Good to know about connie's strength, at that rate you're using like .04L per plant - which is about what I use of my present nutes - but they're shit lol https://www.optimum-hydroponix.com/ I use their AB and B1 and that's it. Best yield was .8gpw but they got too tall so lotsa popcorn from the waist down hehe
If connie causes even more strech, couldn't you just use veg nutes for the first bit of flowering? What would I use in veg btw |

I would use molasses but I'm worried it will muck up my hoses after a while..I mix a big res and pump it to my wand through a garden hose - is carboload sticky lol
