I've had the odd seedling do the same sort of thing, blueberry is another variety that suffers from this sort of mutation in just about all its seedlings but grows out of it after a few weeks from what i've seen and read.

I will need to pot up in a few days. The roots are quite established but the soil they are in seems quite tight. I am using the Sainsburys John innes #2 for cuttings and seedlings. Its really heavy and there is alot of sand. I am not sure if they have done this to encourage strong plants and make them work more as babies? Fuck I am rambling. Anyways they are looking awesome. Nice and Stocky as I have the 7 of them under 2x55W Pl-L fluro's -

That's good to hear,i've got 2 x 2 55w PL-L and they keep most plants really stocky.

Evening all..

Right update on the little seedlings..

They seem to be doing well.. I am not too keen on the soil that they are in as it seems a bit heavy and there is alot of sand in it. Does anyone know why they make seedling and cutting compost so heavy/sandy?

The plants are starting to show some characteristics from their parents and slight variations in growth and hardiness are showing through.

#1 - Seems to lean towards the cheese side with slimmer longer leaves
#2 - Is also leaning towards the Cheese side but seems to not handle the nutrients in the soil as it has a bit of burn
#3 - Likes the soil but again seems to be pretty long leaved
#4 - Is the mootant - It seems to like everything and just happy to be alive I guess..
#5 - seems to be stuck between the two - the leaves are almost twisted a bit
#6 - Is the kind of thing I am looking for - Nice and stocky with fat leaves
#7 - Is my favourite - I can see the Chronic showing itself in this one.

That's pretty much it really - I still have the heat-mat under the propagator keeping them at around 23C and will probably keep it there till they are too big for the propagator - I am probably going to buy a bud-box for my mothers and small plants so I can free up the space upstairs in the loft so I can grow more

Last one is a group shot - There are also two Nirvana Top Skunk 44 seedlings in there if your wondering why the extra pots

All right folks take it sleazy

Nice 1,they look pretty healthy and #4 seems to be growing out of the mutation.
You'll find they grow better with the propagator lid off,i take the lid off as soon as they sprout so i don't cause damping off fungus which is caused by high humidity.
Can't wait to see these bloom, hopefully they'll produce some real potent dank fruity crystal covered nuggets.

hey matt - Prop lid was on while the missus adjusted the temps in there for her animals and insects

Right I am sorry for the delay in posting but Its hard to do two forums at the same time when time is scarce

Day 20 from Sprouting. Some people take the start of veg from when they have the first true leaves.. ahh well day 20 at my pozzie

All plants are looking fine apart from #2 still being all sensitive

They are still under the 55w PL-L Fluro's and seem happy enough - Room temps are arround 23C as the missus keeps her bugs in there so temps and RH need to be pretty stable

DAY 26

Right well things have started kicking off really nicely now and I am happy with the new soil and health of the plants.

Remember #2 was getting burned on the nutes in the soil? Well now its the biggest of the lot..

Everything else seems to be fine. I am going to need to move them up to the veg room tonight as I need to clone my lemon stinky mom plant so the clones will go in their place.

I have allready made another 2x55W PL-L fluro system so they will go under brand new bulbs etc..

Right then.. All plants are in the right order.

Added One of the roots and one of the internodal spacing thingys - Pics of roots and nodes are #2 if your wondering why the nute burn and..
