...so ordered some "the pure" by flying dutchmen from seed boutique and it turns up in a totally different packaging than usual flying dutchmen packs..then i hear that very recently sensi seeds has bought out flying dutchmen...anyone know wether this is true? Im actually fuckin fuming here thinkin they wont be the real pures, unless flying dutchmen had some of their original stock left when they sold to sensi ...i used to love sensi stuff pre 2005 but their quality seems bad these days and the idea that they may be selling fake "the pure" really pisses me off...if thats the case i may as well of bought any old skunk#1 off any breeder...

maybe seed boutique recieved the pure from the Flying Dutchmen in bulk (without them already being in breeders packs), so they've had to package them up themselves?

sensi & eddy received skunk #1 from the same source. knowing what we all know about the stability of skunk #1, why would there be any difference?

Jim, i think its that sensi havent been keeping up the quality of their strains since ben dronkers has took a back seat cos the stuff in the new packages of sensi aint as good as the old stuff...meaning the sensi skunk 1 probably has a lot of afghan phenos when in reality im after the genuine 75 percent sativa sk 1 that expresses its more colombian mexican background not a bog standard skunk that has been backcrossed to afghan just for extra yield...

in other words theres a reason people say get "the pure" over any other seedbanks sk 1

i sprouted a package of skunk #1 from sensi within the last year or two, the majority of the phenotypes were sativa-dominant.

my point was, as the skunkman has said many times, skunk #1 breeds true. sensi would have to be even more incompetent than the majority of ICMaggers believe them to be to screw that one up.

fwiw, i've grown a fair amount of sensi from seed over the last few years-- skunk #1, super skunk, nl5xhaze, durban poison, ed rosenthal super bud & jack herer-- and i have trouble figuring out what people's complaints are. all females i have grown from sensi seeds have been exceptional cannabis. nl5xhaze was the most difficult & frustrating to germinate (i had a similar experience with TFD's original haze)-- i went through two packs to find a few decent females-- but other than that, everything that's come from sensi has been nothing but quality.
