Cana bird of Paradise plant be cloned? If so, how? Like where on the plant do i take the cut etc. Any help would be appreciated...

you dont clone it as such. to propagate from an existing plant, you dig it up an cut it in half vertically, splitting it in two. this technique is called lift and divide. you propagate hostas the same way.
on edit: it will apparently prevent them from flowering for a few years.
