Kalichakra Hydro ?

Got seeds ordered, money order on the way. Am going to grow 1 out side and do some on the table. How does Kalichakra respond to nute levels? Does it do better with low, med, or higher levels. I use a EC meter to determine mix strength. Anything to look out for specific regarding this strain? Thanks

Are you growing in rockwool or coco? In coco she grew well with EC 1,1-1,4 - this was with daily hand watering and pauses in between after flushing with water. Since there are so many different systems and feeding cycles you have to sort of work your way up slowly and check how she responds. Also the light intensity is important. You can post some pics as the grow progresses in case you need any assistance. The cuttings can be put into flowering quite early. I think it´s also a good idea to cut down on N levels earlier in the pre-flowering phase (I say that because some growers wait 2 weeks till switching to bloom formula). With a lot of N she might grow taller than expected and that´s not so desirable on a table.

Hempy greetings, Mike

Sorry to leave out details. I use rockwool, ebb&flow table, 600w air cooled light and CO2 injection. Thinking about using pure blend pro formulas for this grow. The kalichakra will be used as a medical strain. I'm really excited about this. Not to seem braggish but I'm very accomplished at hydro and bio grows. I normally veg with EC up to about 1.8 If the plants respond to that level. When I go to bloom I raise EC levels to 2.0 with bloom formula.I add the bloom formula on top of the veg formula to EC 2.0 when going into bloom. At the same time I start turning the lights down. GO from 18hr/day to 16hr/day for 2 days. then to 14hr/day for two days, then to 12hr/day until completion. As soon as grow gets to 12hr/day I change nute mix to only bloom mixes and gradually raise EC to 2.4 or higher if plants can take it. This method seems to cause no stress to the plants and my results are really great. Also thanks for the info.

I´m sure you are experienced if you can handle such high salt levels in your grow.
It would certainly interest me if Kalichakra is going to go along with these EC levels - so keep me posted. As soon as I´ve got some spare time (running a bit short on that lately) there will be an update with pics and grow infos on the coco grows. Lately, a grower doing a report on Satori in coco asked me from what the plants live on! He went down to EC 1,0 at 50 days flowering and they love it!
In the end the results count. As long as the plants remain healthy you can have success with all kinds of grow methods.

Grow on, Mike

Thanx for the info MM. Will try to put up a grow thread if I can figure out how to post pics. Probably get my kid to show me how. HAHA Was notified this morning that my seeds have been shipped. Looking forward to this grow!

Got the kalichakra beans yesterday and they are some big healthy looking ones indeed. Got em soaking in prep for planting. Gonna plant in dirt to try to find a nice mother and will grow clones in the hydro to determine sex. Really syked about this grow.
