Papaulz visits OG bub! - Hill Temple Collective - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

High folks!
Had a real cool weekend!
Papulz made a trek up here to visit with myself and the fam on friday.

we met up about 30-40 min from my home, made the drive into the woods and began to define a respectfull friday!
we decided to do some grillin, I grabbed a couple NewYorkStrips, and a pile of serloin tips, and ofcourse some Ribs too.
Papulz brought along some special Garlics and a Russian potato, Ill let him elaborate on those.
before preping the food, we needed to work up an appetite of course...

My Brother-inlaw, Papulz and I made our way down to the plinking range, airated some paperplates with various sized metal projectiles for a little bit. I came to the conclusion that Papulz would definetly be fun to bring hunting!

after that, we went back to the house, thats when things started to change, there was a different feeling in the air, something was going to happen.....
it did!
Papulz broke out the Herb samples, and the Hashes!
wow.. well, the Jelly he had was great, lung blowing stuff. we pased it around for a few... speaking for myself, I was stoned! so clean, it was in his nice lil personal wodden slide box, fat lil cake. (as the night went on, evertime he would slide that box open I was thinking to myself "ahhh shit, here we go again")

Eyes now low, I figured we should get the grill on! we did. Papulz helped Mrs.Bub get the potatos ready.
We all had a great meal, everything was prime imo, Im thinkin the JellyHash was the reason every one liked my steaks so much..lol

after a bit of clean up, food settleing etc, we went on to smoke more, and then a bit more. My brother-inlaw hit the woods with a saw..
Papulz and I curiously watched as tall trees shook on an otherwise calm evening, wonderin just exactly WTF he was doing out there...
few minutes later there was an abundance of burning wood piled up nearby where we were about to have a nice "camp fire". we started that up and proceeded to chill. Papulz happily passing around more hash, some of us wondering at this point if we would even be up for smoking any bud tonight lol.
We joked around, enjoyed the warm fire on an otherwise cool night, made conversation etc..
the evening was closing fast, it was time for the kids to get to bed. Mrs.bub was all over it. Bro-inlaw and sister had to leave with my neph, he was gettin a bit tired.
eventually, we made our way back to the Kitchen table, which is by the way, the place I sit alot.. tables are a great thing, you can pile up all kindsa shit infront of you.. what a wonderfull invention, as I more often than not, have all kinds of shit infront of me.
it was quieter now, for the most part, Papulz, Mrs.bub, and I at the table. somewhere prior to this all, Papulz poured me up a dose of tincture, aswell as Mrs.bub..
yepp, I was feelin it.
so we sat at the table, burned things in pipes, I drank some cold fizzy beer aswell. we talked about all kindsa things, plants, strains, breeding, hash, oils, breeders, business, life, experience, everything but not enuff!
Papulz is the kinda dood ya can keep on talking with, we had great conversations.
we talked about the samples he brought up, I brought out a lil nug of MandarinDream Ive had in a Jar for a while, we smoked more.
eventually, my woman went to bed.
we sat at the table. passed, hash and herb and seed gifts back and forth for a bit.
I opend a nother beer, he packed more melty goodness. quite honestly, I was fucked up at this point of the evening (bout 1am), so I enduldged in one more puff then said "Im good man".. yepp, bub was done.
after a Guinness it was time for my head and my pillow to be at one with each other (bout 2am)
Papulz made his way to the guest room upstairs.

that was a GREAT friday, I would not have had it any other way!

saturday AM will be my next post, it will include some pics of the buds, the bubbles, oils, and the Jelly that papaulz taught me how to make.

now I just goptta go get some screens to catch the melt shots!

next installment coming this eve after I upload some pics.

Papulz and I talked about my desire to throw a big "HTC Team get-together" in the spring, kinda in the form of a tent party. would be fun!

potatoes - russian banana fingerlings (i wish i had brought more)

To those reading, bub is a world class carnivore. great meat.

and yeah that spring thang definitely would be the cat's pajamas.

The team party is a great idea and you could have the team all jar and cure sample's and do a comparison on the diff strain's and how they were grown and such

the jelly i brought was a mix of an 06 outdoor strain ball from mendocino - all 73 u, about 40% the mendo ball mixed with 30% trainwreck, then the rest was 90u from my powerplant and orangebud. those were mixed with what was either kush oil or cherry trainwreck oil... cant recall.
