different latitudes? - Reeferman Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Reeferman is based at 50 degrees latitude and I live at about 39 degrees so if purchase an outdoor strain that finishes mid-sept at 50 degrees it should finish for myself even sooner, granted that all goes well. Is there truth to this or was the author of the book I read smokin weed?

Yeaa it's true because at lower lattitude you haven't in peak summer so long days, i mean light per day so you faster reach 12/12 night day ratio, but you have shorter nights in winter.

yes strains should finish about a week or so faster there, but I think it is because you get more intense sun and this helps the plants finish faster

But some years we have simillar weather at 39 and 49 north and 39 is still faster.

yes but there is more lumens because you are closer to the sun

No no because you are closer this is not true. Yea it is true in these area you have more lumens but because on 39 nort you have different angle of sun rays. In equatorial you have right-angle and this mean you have more ryas on sqare. You underestand me?
