Cannacopia "Magnum"

Just grabbed a pack of these at the bay and will start them as soon as they arrive !

Magnum
The famous BC ‘Champagne’ Hashplant, one of BC’s most cultivated clones, was used as the mother of the particular hybrid seed - crossed again to our Deep Chunk indicas to reinforce the high yield and help provide a more upright stature to the offspring. We’ve seen the mother plant produce over 2 lb of dry product from each plant, when grown as full size trees indoors, with vertically hung lights without reflectors. All lower branches needed to be tied up, as the massive buds on each branch were too much for the stems on their own. This variety is well suited for the commercially minded producers, both due to the large yield and the fact that the odour is not as intense while growing. Performs well in sea-of-green applications. The finished product is highly saleable and coveted for the classic spicy hashplant aroma and dense, weighty nuggets. Hashish made from trim/manicuring materials is of the absolute finest quality. Yield is large (Up to 2 lbs per plant indoors, 450g / sq m). Not recommended for greenhouse applications without stringent humidity control. Outdoors we have had limited luck due to the dense nature of these colas, and tendency of the plants to buckle under their own weight.

Indoor flowering 8-9 weeks.

I smoked lots of BC Champagne in the 90's and it was dank buds back then, so I'm really hoping to find something special in these beans.

Thanks for making these seeds available at a very reasonable price

Hey Cannacopia, do you have any plans to start backcrossing some of these elite clones you hold? Not sure if the DC would be the best male but I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in that type of work also.

Many thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, both Gypsy and Bubbleman have seen that BCHP cut performing to it's max (vertical 1000w lights)...

Good luck, Nugz! Let us know how it goes.

Yeah i pm'd cannacopia once about their champagne and krush strains.
I would love to validate the strains they are saying they used, and in this particular case it would be very easy for me to do> The bchp strain not as rare as the krush, but the krush is extremly rare and very few people have it.
Thats why i thought it would be nice to able to offer the community a VALIDATION on at least the BCHP and the KRUSH.
as those are two strains i have had in my stash for the past 7 or so years.
I will gladly post pictures of the vegging, and budding of krush as well if people are so inclined

Its nice in this day and age with people naming strains any name they choose, to have some sort of validation. Not saying i don't trust the seed business, but lets be honest it has a potential of being seedy. no pun intended.
Krush is a strain i have never seen a single other person even post on any boards, so would love to see the krush strain that was used in their cross.

my two cents.

Peace
Bubble man

I wonder if these are F1's or F2's? From the description, it leads me to think F2: (BCHP X DeepChunk) X DeepChunk.

That sounds like a great idea. There's nothing like an independently verified seal of approval.

BTW - I'm still waiting for a breeder to have Bubbleman verify FMCD strains ;-).

EasyBakeIndica, thanks for the kind words and pictures. Cant wait to grow them out and see what they have to offer! I see you are also growing some BC Roadkill x DC. I would also love to give those a try. Soon

Hey bubbleman, your recent thread "Champagne Dry Sift Macro's" brought back good memories of BC... had great times and met lots of great people up there! And of course got to smoke 100's of different kinds of prime BC Bud! including the Champagne.

Well, all I can say is I can't wait for the beans to arrive!

Take care everyone!

That's why I almost feel bad for ranting, but....

Perhaps breeders who delete grower experiences if they're negative are missing out on important feedback? As a buyer, I'm disgusted by these practices and am angry that the people on icmag aren't getting the whole picture about strain problems before they buy their seed "

Hey bro, as far as I know, beasters is poorly grown, early chopped herbz. Could be great genetics but the commercially-minded growers who pump that shit out dont give a fuck about nothing but the bucks in their pockets.

Anyways, the beans are now germinating!

As soon as there is anything worthy of posting, I'll update this thread.

Take care everyone, thanks Cannacopia!
