That is a very nice looking greenhouse. How many total hours of labor do you think you put into it?

okay, doors framed and ready for plastic.

i'm gonna hold off on one of them for now until i determine how i am doing my passive intake louvered vent... i will need to frame that out on the bottom of the door ;)

gotta frame out my fan on the other end. it's so big, it will only be about half way up the end wall unless i mount it on the door. don't wanna make the door to heavy either. we'll see.

wow you really have a great thread here.

thanks for sharing with us at icmag, your really gonna inspire people with this thing, and it looks great!

if i may suggest something, imo, after dealing with plastics for years, unless you need the security of a non see though gh plastic, there are a few other grades that will allow tons more light in while still retaining heat. The brand you purchased actually comes from a manufacturer that until recently had a true near clear plastic, now its seems its just a weird white thats barely see through.

anyway just thought id throw in my 2 cents.

great work

it's complete !!!

well except for the following...

1. i ordered a solar panel off ebay this morning, so that will take care of the exhaust fan.

2. i need to create a passive intake

3. i need to build my raised beds (eventually). gonna grow in some miracle grow bags to start :D

4. and finally, connect my rain collection water reservoir to my greenhouse.

4A. add a AA battery operated hose valve with timer, so plants get watered automagically ;)

door covered and mounted...

wow, this thing is not going to be of much use in the summer me thinks...

today is in the mid 80's...

after 1 hour with the doors closed i checked the temp. off the scale, 125 degrees+

this really should do very well around here over the next 6 months or so.

if i could grow right now, some nice auto's could be placed in there soon :D
