Fixing correx onto GT424 system?

I've got a new Nutriculture GT424 NFT system which comes with a black sheet of correx. I was wondering, am I meant to fix the correx to the system or do I just let it sit on top loose? There are two white nuts and bolts either side of the system - am I meant to use these to affix the correx to the system?

I just used to tape mine down.
What you don't want is light getting to your roots.
But to be honest I never had any probs.

The nuts are to fix the top plate/tray to the bottom res.
Have fun, they are a good simple system.
Don't over think it.

i love nft.
Don't forget to add a air stone to your bottom rez once roots reach that far into the rez or they will be starved of oxygen once so large and with increasing demands.
