Im a big fan of chocolate tasting strains and wanted some input on which strain will give me a good chance of finding a strong chocolate tasting phenos. I got ChocolateRain but out of the 5 I popped I got 2 girls. One fruity tasting and the other had a winter green taste it to. Got 5 more to pop and just for future reference wanted to know which strains did you find chocolate.

i've got two choco strains:

choco chiba:

In Brazil we obtained a cutting and some seeds of a variety referred to as a chocolate sativa from an woman whose husband was a well reputed member of the paraguaian mafia. They told us this variety was actually a colombian Chiba that they'd been growing in paraguai for quite some time.
Unfortunately in brazil it takes quite a bit of work to find the strains in their pure form. Unfortunately in brazil almost any bricked seeds you obtain while more than likely is descended of the cultivar that the name originated from probably is no longer pure. Hybridization is common and the afterward the strain will retains the original name. To get the strains pure you almost always have to get it direct from the grower and over the last ten years growers have gone very far underground and are extremely secretive. Fortunately the old native guarani woman who gave us the cutting and the seeds really appreciated the strain and refused to hyrbidize it when growing it for her own personal stash. I couldn't meet her in person. In order for luiz to be permitted into the compound an armed escort assigned by the mafia was required. These were obviously very sketchy people.

We do still have seeds and we will try to make them available one way or the other either as an accession or as unbred freebies.

choco chiba uncured smells faintly of coco/choco. smoked in a clean bowl a nice chocolate taste covers the tongue.

hash plant from vulkania yielded me a nice non-hermie chocolate smelling potent narcotic hash plant pheno:

Hash plant is the `most chocolate` indica into our collection and a major producer of resin. This is an incredible variety of medium size and with few branches. All production focuses on the main stem, the buds forming very compact and homogeneous from the base. These characteristics makes it ideal for growing indoors into a S.O.G. (Sea of Green).

The plant forms real Colas, thanks to the short distances of internodes, which allows it to support a huge bud. It also has a extremely low leaf/bud ratio.
It is a plant easy to grow, with few needs, and a good candidate for producing crops near a gram per watt. This variety produces trichomes onto the stems, leaves and because of its inflorescences they are completely covered with glandular trichomes full of cannabinoids.

Medicinal Cannabis with narcotic effects.
i'm putting some choco chiba clones and some choco hp/choco chiba seedlings od soon. the only way to find out how well they perform is to grow 'em and cure 'em. i'm hoping for some strong choco tastes, smells after a good cure.

I may be wrong but I thought T.H.seeds had gentics called chocolate chunk....a friend of mine in the L.A. area grow it a few times in the mid-90's and I do remember the taste being very chocalate like just not sure I remember what breeder had it....it was either T.H.seeds,Serious, or Sensi. Hope this helps.

I grew out Chocolate Rain and did not find it to taste or smell anything like Chocolate, but I did get Chocolate from the Lavendar Rain (Lavendar X Chocolate Rain) which were freebies made by E$co.
