"War is a Racket"
by Major General Smedley Butler

"War Is a Racket is a speech and a 1935 short book, by Smedley D. Butler, a retired United States Marine Corps Major General and two-time Medal of Honor recipient. Based on his career military experience, Butler frankly discusses how business interests commercially benefit (including war profiteering) from warfare. He had been appointed commanding officer of the Gendarmerie during the United States occupation of Haiti, which lasted from 1915 to 1934.

China just wants to carry on abusing chinese peoples human rights and destroying the environment so they can destroy foreign markets by flooding them with their crappy exports. As long as nobody messes with that gig, china don't give dead rats ass about ANYTHING gwai lo does. keep buying their crap, don't mention the violations and abuses and they are happy, like Saudi Arabia really.

You have been saying this for decades about candidates and you have been right until now - they were picked by Goldman Sachs, the Rothchilds and the like. Doesn't the unprecedented level of opposition to Trump by ALL the usual suspects tip you off to anything? If it doesn't, THAT is weird.

Trump is despised and vehemently opposed by...

Celebrities
Royalty
Mainstream media
Finance/Banking ie. Rothschild, Soros etc.

Also... deficit reduced, unemployment reduced, peace in Korea...

This isn't the same coin, it isn't even the same currency. Clinton was dirty money, Trump, you can bank on.

Trump filled his administration with the most Goldman Sachs members of any president ever. He's a wannabe elitist trying to get into the big boys club.

There is an observable pattern of what happens to some people who were part of Trumps administration. You will notice it sooner or later.

One of Trumps executive orders may help you make sense of it sooner than the people it affects - government employees.

This is possibly the first really good expose' of the matter. If I remember rightly, General Butler refused to participate in an armed fascist coup against FDR. Didn't ever happen, but it got off to a good start with thousands of participants.

Right that explains the massive corporate tax cut for them and easier filing for the unwashed masses.

Corporation tax cuts mean higher wages and better job security for workers employed by corporations. They mean new jobs for the unemployed and more taxes payed by them.

If Hillary had got elected, the return on those hundreds of millions Soros and Goldman Sachs gave her and bill would not have been payed so transparently or indiscriminately as tax cuts - you wouldn't know about it just like you didn't know about all the cash Obama sent to Iran on pallets - your money, billions of it, in cash, as payment for not developing nuclear weapons, which they did anyway, with the money he sent.

That was part of the rouse used to justify the tax cuts, but reality of such maneuvers, either after Reagan employed them, or more recently when trump did, doesn't match the promise.

Lots of good and objective economic research to prove this. And current reports on what major corporations did with these cuts.

A complete account of what every dollar saved by every corporation, thanks to Trumps cuts, was spent on? just the savings?

OR... a few cherry picked, misrepresented publicly disclosed expenditures by corporations who would would have saved tax?

No, a current accounting of what the larger corporations have done with their 'savings.'

We already know what happened after Reagan's similar tax cuts, and they didn't benefit the Country or labor. That's a certainty.

In fact, Reagan's own party, almost immediately after his tax cuts, passed numerous pieces of legislation to avoid further bankrupting of the Country, and the outcomes for labor were still the same; there was no tidal wave of corporate expansion and more jobs, other than maybe expanding over-seas. Only the expansion of the wallets of CEOs and the shareholders.

The Koch Bros, kool-aid isn't geared toward a solid work force and Country, as much as it's geared toward their own selfish interests and those few who belong to their 'club.'

Yes, there's plenty of good solid research to show this.

Reagan, what he did or what happened during his presidency lends no weight to your criticism of Trump.
Unless you can provide examples and sources, I will agree to disagree:)

Bullshit. Walmart kicked back less than 0.001% of their savings to employees. Can't recall anyone else making the news about it.

Trickle down economics never worked when Reagan championed it, why would it now.

Old ideas long washed up from a geriatric president living in the 80's.

You have proof Iran has nuclear weapons?

By all means, go public with this information, don't hold anything back.

We're all adults here, no one's going to hold your hand.

Type trickle down economics into google.

If you come away with the same impression of what you read, you chose to believe the slim results supporting the theory, despite the weight of evidence against it.

What's the expression for that? Willful ignorance.
