She's doing well, I subjected her to some punishment , that's the damages noticed, I sometimes can be brutal on seedlings.

The Malawi faired the best of my current batch of seedlings, almost unfased , even though I subjected her to the most punishment.

I believe there are genetic triggers in the early stages of cannabis growth , in the first weeks, that are capable of turning on or off different phenotype and recessed genes expressions that carry on through the plants entire life.and also increase the chances of passing those traits or creating new ones through mitachondrial DNA.

No doubt, the scientists who study epigenetics would agree. They are convinced that gene expression can be affected by the environment an organism lives in, and that the resulting gene expression can also be passed to offspring, particularly if the offspring occupy a similar environment.

I've done some reading on the research into the epigenetic effects of early life stressors on human resilience to stress later in life. Your theory on Cannabis sounds similar to what I've read about human epigenetics.

I'm impressed by the Malawi seedling showing trichomes so early!

The punishment I put them through was light damage with actual sunlight using large mirrors the my apartment was luckily already furnished with.

To understand deeper why I did this you need the back story.

Many many years ago, when I first started growing pot I picked up some seeds from a local grower, nothing special, some pacific northwest hashplant type herb for outdoors.
Anyway this is my second grow, but with "real" seeds, the first time I grew it was some decent oldschool brickweed ended up like Aces Honduras....

So anyway being impatient and not knowing better, I started 3 seeds,( I had A lot) And thinking I could get them to grow faster I set them up with mirrors shining extra sunlight on them , so they are getting 4x sunshine as seedlings LOL HAHAH...

The one female that came from that batch was by far and not even by a little bit the greatest most stinkiest most gigantic trichome most powerful herb I still to this day have not come across, I kept her as a MOM for about 2 years....let her go not knowing what I truly had. I searched and searched those seeds and the guy i got them from had nothing like it ever....nobody did or does,The smell was so strong pure lemon astringent chemdog type. I over the years became convinced it was the mirrors and the overexpose to radiation energy from the actual sun in its early stages is what set her apart...

I would shine mirrors on them for about 4 hours everyday while I was chilling around the house with lots of sunlight, for the first few weeks everyday, 2 of the Caribe look like mutants I burned them so bad haha.

She's doing very well, I trimmed old damaged growth off, and also took topped her taking a nice clone..

Depending how fast she clones , she might get exclusive rights to the growing for awhile...the silver cheese I'm flowering right now is not an easy cloner,,,

She has the best vigor of anything in the stable currently.

Easy cloning is a must if I'm gonna bother with mum's and clones.

Nice to see she is still showing resin glands on fan leaves in vedge.

Good luck with your Malawi grow Jammal :)

Hopefully she is anticipating a very resinous flowering.

Re potted and trimmed for bonsai mum mode...

The 3 others are Caribe regs, not sure what will come of these yet, I will be buying/building a tent and or Rubbermaid grow in the next month...

1 near death seedling.mangokush CBG, I will give it all the time she needs, but she is near death now..

The Malawi is the main interest right now.,,when I trimmed her , I took the leaves and crumble them in my hands and get a good whiff,,, smells distinctly strong like black liqurice and burnt rubber, very herbal smelling..not green at all.. potent like a culinary Herb,,,

The Malawi clone looks strong still, doubt it's rooted yet but it's holding power looks good.

the yogurt cups are my clone domes, just a peat pellet in a yogurt cup with clear lid.
