OPSAK are truly smell proof.

If you were trying to be super diligent, use a vacuum sealer and then put the vacuum sealed bags inside the OPSAK. :biglaugh:

2nd that on the OPSAK, 100% effective, knock on wood :). Only drawback is the seal strip wears out a little too easy

Yep vacum sealer. I use only the heavy freezer bags. Seal it without sucking it down. I use regular ziplocks to weight up. Then I cut a peice off the vacum seal rool.
Seal one end. Shove the ziplock full inside and seal the other end. Never smells never till u cut it open.

the thick seal a meal and food saver bags heat sealed.

for mailing... always dangerous regardless imo

put your stinky pot in one and seal. put another one around it and as already mentioned, put a good bit of activated charcoal in the gap between them.
or even better
put hydrogen peroxide liquid, or granular pool bleach between them. And then perhaps even another layer or just a ziplock around that.

The charcoal catches any odor that gets through, and some does of course, but the oxidizing agents will destroy any that gets through. Sometimes you can smell the pool bleach, but that takes a long time, and if it sits for weeks, the pool bleach weakens the plastic and it can crack.

This is something I know about. Double seal vac bags. And place them in PELICAN cases they're military grade air and water proof suit cases. You can fit 5lbs in the 1500 series and squeeze 11lbs in the 1600. Check out there website. There really common with the guys that like to ship a lot.

Heat sealed weld able bags... Needs only a iron.... You can also recycle food bag containers, like the coffe grain bags... Anyway usually all the food bags with aluminum inside can heat sealed.. 100% remove smell

I admit the bag within a bag within a bag approach does not always work.

Once I carried about 5 oz's on a Southwest Airlines flight. Flying was so much more fun before 9-11.

Formlinesupply.com was a ton of smell proof gear. Do yourself a favor and check them out. These smell proof jars, Ziploc bags, even like a money bag wirh combination to lock things. I'll get some pics of my stuff, they even got 6in inline fans that work great, also got some grow bags that's working great. But they specialize in smell proof gear, and have quality products in everything they do.

Here's my jar, I think it holds either 1/2 Or 1oz. And these bags are really nice, I put a few points in one and had in the car and never smelled anything.
