I would think hash is more prevalent, I think your going to have to meet /know a farmer for grass.

one of the most frightening places Ive scored hash , think the dealers were just as scared to sell it as I was to buy it , Istanbul and Bangkok
Bangkok got the thai weed smoked once got paranoid had to abandon it , lol

Not sure about strains but the Turkish make their own hash and if your lucky you could pick up some afghan black, it makes it's way to Europe from their
