A possible cure for lyme disease

Threads like this don't help the feeling that the scariest part of my outdoor grow is getting bit by an insect. I use OFF every time I go out to my outdoor grow. I think maybe it's time I get one of these.

Lol. I use my rain pants, rubber boot (the neoprene top type) and spray up to my crotch with a good tick and mosquito spray. I never got one bite last year when I was wearing that.

Ticks don't get any higher than long grass. If I have a jacket on, I hang it on a branch. NEVER just drop it on the ground.

I'd take my chances with Stevia and pre/probiotics, Oregano oil is a great antibiotic, too, before caustic Rx.

https://www.healthline.com/health/doxycycline-oral-tablet

Side effects: loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, rash,
sensitivity to the sun, hives, temporary discoloring of adult teeth (goes away with dentist cleaning after the drug is stopped).

Lyme is an insufferable disease. Why suffer more with temporary or chronic side effects when naturopathics work and little, if any side effects.

Nope, Doxy not for me.

I suggest people look into growing and consuming garlic everyday. Wife and I haven't been bitten by flea tick or fly in years. We grow Cuban oregano but don't use it enough to be considered an effective antibiotic in our situation. Biofilm persistent bacteria got nothing on garlic breath:biggrin:

“We found that these essential oils were even better at killing the ‘persister’ forms of Lyme bacteria than standard Lyme antibiotics,” says Ying Zhang, professor of molecular microbiology and immunology at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Until you or someone you know has had this you don't have a clue trust me you will take almost anything short of poison to kill it.

a very good friend has it
it is preventable by making yourself less tasty to the ticks carrying the disease
Edit to add that when I say preventable, it is the same thing as spraying OFF or other poison all over your body with the exception of the cancer causing chemicals along for the ride.

trust me I do have a clue

She has had it since early 2000 when she was in her 2nd trimester with my youngest son.

She took herself off morphine, percocet, and valium amongst others. She smokes daily, and takes a tincture in capsules. No pharmaceuticals period, they never helped her.
No one specific strain has helped, but she enjoys a fair amount of Sativa in her meds.Probably due to the lyme affecting her neurologically.

The very first time she took a tincture capsule it relieved leg pain that all the narcs prescribed hadn't touched.

How long ago?
Treatment is a real crap shoot w loaded dice, but you have to do something as I found out ignoring it will not make it go away, and doubt will rein supreme.
I believe the closer the point of infection to the vascular system are determiners the period the infection takes hold and it is rapid in any case.

Now here is the real issue has anyone who has Lyme or its components found specific strains to be more helpful than others?

My family doc said it wouldn't be that dangerous and didn't give me antibiotics.
But after developing many symptoms like erratic pain in several joints and the chest, heat and sore feelings in the feet, swollen and stiff fingers and very frequent migraine headache, I decided to search for a doc who is specialized in rheumatology and borreliosis and got treated there with minocycline which made me completely dizzy it got worse and worse and after 4 days i got nauseous and stopped cause i couldn't eat them anymore.

The next doctor's appointment let me wait 2 months later and after googling the pills i got then, called fluorchinolone, i didn't take them because there were hundreds of reports of irreparable joint and nerve damage as side effects. It was in the tv actually that they shouldnt be described anymore. So the effects of the pills sounded more awful than the symptoms i already had. Since then i didn't get another treatment. My family doc believes the lyme disease is gone because of the negative tests but i still have pain in the feet and sometimes sore feelings on the skin in several areas.

At the moment I don't take anything, not even cannabis. My colon doesn't want it atm. I get belly cramps sometimes from weed. I think I need a longer pause from toking. Before quitting I liked sedating stuff the most. Not that it changed the pain but the perception.

Thats about the same time my friend got it hiking to his 1999 end of the world hideaway.
Sorry to hear your wife has this 'crappy disease' as my friend calls it. Says it makes him feel crappy and a sativa high is exactly what works to elevate him enough to do some tasks around the house and yard.

Stevia liquid ... how is that done? DIY

But liquid, whole-leaf stevia extract — not the powdered varieties that people most commonly use — reduced the biofilm mass by about 40 percent, they found.

Thank you for these links! I will definitely look more into it! After reading and googling around i found hints that multiple sclerosis could be related to lyme disease.
So I searched for the distribution area for both diseases and they look pretty identical!!!

You will always get worse before any upswing due to the Herxheimer reaction when you push it it just doesn't push back it KO's you.
Stevia does hold promise but if you read full study only one or 2 brands actually work.

Garlic is great all round usefulness and preventive. I love the Russian hard neck stuff.
Unfortunately due to the nature of this disease it is hard to detect, hard to eradicate, and harder to deal with.
I suspect the real answer is simple but most likely unpalatable, and damn near as bad as the disease.
