Hi everyone. I am curious about making my own vape carts and if this will work.

1. Soak material in Everclear inside of a mason jar.
2. Pour the solution out through a mean skreenz filter that will cover the mouth of the jar.
3. Filter it 3X through a buchner filter.
4. Boil off the everclear on a hot plate, keeping the temp as low as possible.

I can add dry ice to any of the steps if it's recommended.

I'd like to know if i could add true terpenes to this, or if it's a option for enhancing the flavor.

It may say CBD on the video title.

But it doesn't matter if you have THC. It will work just the same.

Alcohol grabs chlorophyll as well as Canabinoids when doing extractions.

The method described on the following link holds promise and I plan on testing it out.

As TM notes, alcohol is polar, so extracts polar molecules like C-55 chlorophyll.

If you drop the temperature of the ethanol below -50C, it will extract considerably less of the longer heavier molecules.

You can do so by just dropping dry ice into the ethanol until you reach the proper temperature.

You can also control it somewhat with time. Attached is a 3 minute extraction at -18C/0F.
