The whole intention of that last line was to show you all that if you want to have a civil discussion about this then lets have one, but im not going to participate in stupid back and forth arguments over something being better than something else. There is no end to that argument as long as we (as people) have a choice of what kind of piece we smoke out of

A bong... is a bong. There are many bongs, but the principle doesn't change. It doesn't matter if you pay $50 or $500, you are still just sucking smoke through water (maybe some ice too). Besides, if you bust a $50 bong you still have 9 more to bust up before you are into RooR territory. RooR's are nice, don't get me wrong, but it's not like if you have one then you are uber-smoker... Everyone should quit antagonizing the RooR defenders/salesmen and the RooR defenders/salesmen should quit telling people their shit sucks because it's not what they have... let's just all be nice and celebrate the glass we've got and the herb we smoke!

I have a very keen eye from past jobs as far as minute detail.
I will admit that when you stand a RooR side by with most other bongs the quality is apparent. But to say that it is unmatched is a steaming pile of horse shit. The taper of the mouth pieces might be a bit differnt than some, but there are plenty of examples that I have seen that are nearly flawless as far as thickness consistancy, joints, seal, and function for "shitty ass" companies.


The PHx I chugged on side by with the percd roor (which was nice) was on par smoke wise. The drag was damn near the same, neligable.

A Bio my buddy has, its 65mm in diameter, 27" tall, and has a double sized dome perc (its huge so theres very little drag for a dome) and just looks plain clean....wants $150 for it. I thinks is the Boi fat 1 double bubble...?
Im also looking at a RooR 4.2 zuma, love it but kinda boring looking....but a good deal.....
Phx trinity with colored percs and custom workings, for about $150
a cheapo Weed Star percd for $80

I'm still undecided, I do want to make a decision till I get to hold em.
I' purchased a bongs before that looked sick but just felt wierd to hold, and really didnt fit in with my vibe when they arrived in the room.....if you know what I mean.
Any one here have any Bio pipes? They look inconsistant as far as quality from online pics, but the one my friend haslooks so perfect. Very uniform and true, ncie litle vibe with the huge green perc and massive 65 cm diameter....27" tall to boot.

IMO EHLEs are the same thing as a roor minus the brand name upcharge.

Most people in my smoking/growing circles consider Roors a joke. If I am going to spend a thousand bucks, I will spend 200 on a perfectly fine bong (and if it breaks, no big deal) and spend the other 800 on Grindhouse, HTC, and H3ad gear!

If I am spending more than 500 on a piece it will be a bubbler from showmeglass (thanks Mr. Tony), not a bong. Lotus and EDIT have nice heady bubblers for cheap as well.

IMO it's hard to beat a good CONE!
