H2O2 12% : how much?

Hello hydro growers,
every thing is fine except that the water is at 26/27°C, and even with an air pump, root are not beautifull. So i ordered oxyboost, which is H2O2 at 12%, and i would like to know how much i should put in the mix, and how long it lasts...I don't use organic nutes, just chelated.
Thanks

I don't know what nutrient you are using but when I contacted General Hydroponics, they told me not to use hydrogen peroxide because it oxidizes important metals in the nutrient solution. I used UC roots to keep and bad stuff at bay. There's also hydroguard but I've never used it.

excited to see what this UC roots can do in the aero cloner:party:

I use Bio Nova nutes...

I've just harvested a remaining bucket, bubbler with quite a lot of air and good air stone, and the least i can say is that i have a root issue...
The plants did not show signs of drawning, they gave me a quite good crop, but the roots are brown, small, don't reach the bottom...That's not normal. I've had far better results in the past, where nights were cold, so the water could cool down in the night at least...
Now i have to deal with warmth day and night.
So air, there is, what to do?

It seems that there is incompatibility between H202 and enzymes only...

12% peroxide = 1ml/2.5l daily, or 2ml/2.5l every second day.
This ratio has worked for me.
A thorough sterilization of equipment etc before being used again or the problem will still persist.
Hope this is helpful, good luck.

One source is 35% "food grade" H2O2, which I source at "health food" stores. It has to be kept in the dark, and I keep it in the freezer. You can dilute to the 3% the drugstores sell, and avoid the mercury they are rumored to put in.

Use a Q-tip to put some concentrate on a mole. I had one to fizz off! It came back, and won't fizz now for some reason.

Great, i put a little less today to my seedlings (2 weeks) and they are fine. How long does it last, do you know? I've read about 4 days, what do you think? I would have said less...

Hi John, I believe it only lasts a cpl days.
I use the second daily method, kept roots white and vigorous.
This is a clone using the 2ml/2.5l every second day, 12 days old cutting.

Here are my seedlings roots. I added H2O2 twice and an air stone. New roots have grown but just under the net pot it is rot isn't it?

I use35% tech grade. 1 pint in a 500g res, once a week, sometimes twice. It bubbles like pouring soda in a glass if theres any bacteria issues. This stuff will burn the flesh right off your bones so be careful .

If you run h2o2, dont run an airstone, and vice versa. The air stone bubbles the h2o2 right out of solution in a day.
