Can I bake/cook with a tincture purchased from a dispensary?

I have a tincture that was purchased from a dispensary and would like to know if I can use it in recipes. The tincture is vanilla flavored and I would use it as if I were using vanilla extract. Will this work or will the dosing be too uneven?
