Yes. And with good results too, just take off the plastic cap before using them on plants.

So like this, with caps removed should work

I might mount it on left side, so it doesn't blind me every time I open door

That's the link! I was looking for that thread yesterday and couldn't find it...in the wrong section

Sillyhead, those bulbs look good, just take off the caps and direct them downwards. I would even put the bulbs in the corners.

What about running a 3 prong extension cord with 3 x 9w led bulbs, this enough for the micro cab above?

If you have the space to have them shine directly on the plants, remove the diffuser/cap/plastic bulb.
