Local Cannabus Cup start up ?'s ,ideas

I would like to start a local cannabus cup on big island of Hawaii.
I think it would be a great oppurtunity to meet fellow growers. Maybe even find some new strains for my area.
Any ideas on how to promote, invite growers, anything that would make this an enjoyable experiance for all?

Good Karma Growers in N.Cali just had their 5th or 7th mini growers cup for the members. You might look at their thread & if you have a medi club start there.
