Dammit! I knew I forgot something. You can actually get away with building up a little pyramid around the stem, even if your medium is near the top of your container. I broke a clone stem due to clumsiness, not a complete break but most of the way. It was laying flat on the edge of the cup. I just piled the coco up and watered as usual. Plant is in flower now and looks like all the rest of its clone sisters

I'll second that, because this is an awesome thread. It's like a junk drawer- poke through it, and you'll find something new and cool.

The Flu and Colds

When fighting a cold or the flu, soak your toothbrush in peroxide before next use... that bugger has been where all the shits happnin'.

and I use an old electric tooth brush dipped in cleaning solution occasionally, to clean/brush the ends of my PPM/EC and PH meters before calibration. not soaked in peroxide

Jelly,

I agree this thread is like a junk drawer. It has become a good source of information and has a lot of good tips that are super helpful. It does take a bit of time to comb through the many pages but well worth it.

Thanks for keeping the thread alive and thank you to everyone who has contributed.
