o2 and plant roots.

What is the mechanism that takes in o2 into the plant roots?

Do the roots need o2 to be dissolve in h2o to absorb efficently?

Would adding pure o2 either to push off other gasses in the water/nute mix or to "trap" o2 bubbles in the root, Nute, water mixes be beneficial. To put it another way to not worry about dissolving the o2 but to suspend it in the water still in gas form.

Any thought or links are greatly appreciated.

Instead of a root boost product we use pure O2 to charge the Rez

50 lb O2 tank, green O2 line, saltwater air stone that screws into the threaded end of O2 line. You can also buy a meter to read the O2 saturation.

Do you chill your reservoir? Do you take o2 reading? From my understanding water can only hold a small amount of o2 a room temp.
Im thinking this may be better suited to a larger plant in a setup like dwc were the o2 bubbles can be trapped by the roots.
