How do you upload a custom avatar?

Hello!

I've been trying for a long hard time to upload a custom avatar. But all i can find are these preset avatars that i don't like.

Please help me!

When you are still in Newbie modus you can't change to a custom avatar.
You need to become a full member first.

It's exactly as Switcher56 said. You need a certain amount of post first to become a full member. Personally I thought it was 50 but I can be mistaken on the exact number.

You need to reach the rank of "member" to upload a custom avatar. That's 7 days after registration with a minimum of 50 posts.
