Jerry Garcia Growing Up

Just pulled the first Cherry Gar-See-Ya. Smells great already and is stupid sticky! Gonna use Grove Bags again for the cure. I have no complaints with these. I still have some Super Lemon Haze from months ago and they still smell and taste like a 2 month cure.

Gonna get these rolling in the next day or two.

I was not happy with my soil choice last round given the gnat problem the soil brought in. So, I am going back to Fox Farm and will be doing a 50:50 mix of their Ocean Forest and Happy Frog. I’ve seen numerous folks recommend this mix so I thought I would give it a try and see if the results are a touch better than OF alone. I am going to stick with top dressing dry amendments as I like the simplicity of it and more importantly, it works.

Fim’d them and did some supercropping on Monday. I’ve given them nothing but spring water so far. Looking nice and starting to take off. I didn’t do the runt on the left until last night.

I still have the ladies in veg so nothing major to note at the moment. I gave them some microbial tea about 2 weeks ago. I top dressed with some of the Dank OG dry fertilizer I’ve mentioned and some additional worm castings last week. Now watering with pH 6.7 filtered city water.

Today marks 48 days since breaking soil. I’m thinking another week or two of veg and I’ll toss them into flower. That should give me a harvest window of mid to late January.

Ok, so HI folks, it’s been a bit. November 11th I put the Pineapple Express into a 12/12 light schedule. So today marks 3 weeks. If this strain can finish as fast as they say, I’ll have an early January harvest.

Nothing major to report. I top dressed with some dry veg nutrients a week ago and continue to just give them pH balanced filtered water. All the ladies are looking good with no visible issues. I did some more defoliation also a week ago. I think I’ll make that the last trim and just let them finish. Shaping up to be a very happy January!

Just a quick shot of the Pineapple Express this morning which marks 31 days 12/12. I like where they are at and they are looking healthy.

I played around with measuring my PPFD a bit this weekend. My top leaves were really pointing up, maybe at about 60 degrees. That can be a signal of too much light so I figured this was a worthwhile exercise. I've never really checked and thought I would give it a try with an iPhone app called Photone. My top bud sites were coming in at around 850-900. Did some reading and although that is not a bad number, I dialed the light back a little to bring it down to around 750-800. I have no idea the accuracy one gets with an iPhone but we'll see if the leaves settle back down a bit.

Oh, and one other thing! I finally landed a position with a cannabis cultivation facility here in Kansas City. I will be a Cultivation Specialist and start next Monday. Very excited to finally have broken into this industry. It hasn't been easy!

All seems to be going well. We are now at 52 days 12/12. These have a ways to go, I’m thinking at least 2-3 weeks left. If I recall, G-13 Labs stated this was a quick 8 week finisher. Well, not the phenos that I found!

I got low on my dry ferts and decided to try Dr. Earth’s Flower Girl. I just top-dressed before my watering last night.
