Bubble hash, saving seeds

Anyone save seeds from a bubble run?

I'm planning on making bubble (first time) from most of this years harvest. My patch is open pollinated, so I have an abundance of seed, of which I would like to collect as many as possible.

Will the amount of time they are in ice water be enough to "ruin" them?

Do I need to keep them in a freezer afterwords? I've read that once seeds don't like going from warm to cold more than once, or, once they've been cold, once they are warm again they think its sprouting time.

Or, should I try to pick out as many seeds as I can before I run it?

Take the seeds out before processing. :tiphat:

Dry them for a few days and then store them in in your refrigerator.
You can leave them there for at least 5 years and the ripe ones will germinate.
Plastic bags tend to make holes so don't use them if you can avoid them.
Empty pill bottles, protein powder bottles or small tupperware containers work.
I don't freeze my seeds.

To use: Open the container, take the seeds you want to germinate and place back in the refrigerator right away.

Cheers

Thanks. I suppose it's best to break up buds (like I said, I'm running everything, not just trim) before mixing in the ice water, so I guess I'll just pick for seeds as I break em up.

The more broken the buds the more efficient the extraction process will proceed.

No seeds are needed for the process either.

They have a better purpose in life. :)
