Nice Wooden Pipes

I like to buy things with then intent of using and keeping the items for my whole life. Well, I really like to smoke out of nice wooden pipes (not the kinds for tobacco), and I want to invest in one. Does anyone know of any good places to get such quality pipes?

local headshops/cigar stores/search google/DIY..?

Yeah...
My local shops only carry cheap, mass-produced wooden pipes; All of the nice pipes are made from glass.
The pipes at the tobacco stores are too large and impractical for marijuana smoking.
Google only provides leads to cheap headshops and tobacco pipes.
I really wish I could make one myself, but I would surely be unhappy with the result and it would take too much time to cultivate the skill required to make a nice pipe; I'd rather learn something else.

Thanks, those look really nice. I wonder if the smoke actually cools/how much they are?

Those pipes look super nice but after seeing the photo published this month in Skunk magazine of Jack Herer totally bogarting one of those pipes, it kinda ruined it for me. It made me want to stop smoking forever out of fear I'd have to hit a pipe after someone like that someday.

I've seen porn flicks where the lady doesn't have it that deep in her throat. :badday:

Great pipes... just don't pick up the latest issue of Skunk.

Tune make interesting looking wooden pipes, with filters. The bowl looks like it`s flush with the pipe though? They also have charcoal filters for bongs. Search for Tune smoking pipes or something, can`t be bothered to put the link here.

The Jack Herer looks good too. I want a Celebration though.

If you're not familiar with meerschaum pipes google it,they are pipes worthy of investing in.

Yeah, I'm familiar with meerschaum pipes. I smoked a tobacco pipe for about a year, but decided it was not worth the potential health effects. That's probably why I want to replicate the experience when I'm smoking weed. But, pipes made for smoking tobacco are simply impractical for marijuana.

I pretty much thought a pipe was a pipe.Of course there are cosmetic differences between a headshop "potpipe" and say a wooden tobacco pipe, but dont they operate the same?I saw a movie last night where an old Dutch woman was hitting an artificial leg made into a bong.Deuce Bigalow is my hero
