I am trying to get their other paper that does list the 'how', such as PPFD, etc. I for one would never move to New Zealand due to their shitty laws about publishing cannabis info:

An experimental indoor hydroponic Cannabis growing set-up, using the screen of green (ScrOG) method
G.A. Knight, S.A. Hansen,
J. Clandestine Lab. Invest., Chem. Assoc. 20 (1) (2010) 12–22.

I'm really looking forward for this one!

Well there is at least one, check out the link provided by spurr:

An interesting paper...

But the authors left out the most important data, the 'hows' because they are douche bags and didn't want the public to have the info! LOL, like there isn't a mountain of 'how to' info for growing cannabis in the public domain already...

It's funny to read about how the scientists, who had never grown cannabis before, screwed up the crop a few times. It kind of invalids much of the data they present because they are shitty growers. But the pics and info is wroth reading.

"The results of an experimental indoor hydroponic Cannabis growing study, using the ‘Screen of Green’ (ScrOG) method—Yield, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and DNA analysis"
Glenys Knight, Sean Hansen, Mark Connor, Helen Poulsen, Catherine McGovern, Janet Stacey
Forensic Sci. Int. (2010)
http://www.file-upload.net/download-3024210/hydro_SCROG.zip.html
  • I uploaded the paper to a Russian file host, the passphrase to decrypt the file is "ilovecanna" (without quotes); the paper is too big to upload here.

Well there is at least one, check out the link provided by spurr:

For. Sci. Int. is not J. Clan. Lab. Forensic Science International is a popular choice for drug-related publishing of late, and it is one of the least publicly accessible journals, but there is a policy of not giving certain detailed useful information there. Chemists licensed to work with drugs, and journal editors, are generally cautious about what is published these days. The hidden details that readers from "the dark side" want is what the MUCH more inaccessible J. Clan. Lab. is for hiding in.

An example of how things are these days: the USA's DEA is required by law to publish Microgram, but in Jan. 2010 it was emasculated in response to the general desire for more gov. secrecy (and being reposted at pro-drug sites) and what was previously published in Microgram Bulletin is now the restricted Bulletin LE. They made some excuse saying that what is now the Bulletin (and Journal) is all the public was ever entitled to.

@ all,

I will get papers requested tomorrow, all that I can.

@ tester,

I am emailing the main author of that paper tomorrow to try and get a copy; I might be able to considering I am getting my degree in plant physiology and I'll use my .edu email address.

@ G.O. Joe,

Very true what you wrote, and it's a shame.

Hey spurr! I heard a rumor that you might be able to get me some documents. Im actually not even sure if they are documents or papers or what. they were in the references on someones paper that i was reading and i would like to read more. If you could help me that would be great. Thanks!!!

Sadly, at my campus I dont' have full access to informaworld or actahort. I will ask Junior_Grower to try and get them, I have a few I would like that are located at both of those online journals I will add to this thread in the hopes someone can get them for me. I could get them but it's a pain in the butt to do so, thus I hope Junior_Grower, Mr.Fista or others with access to journals can get papers from informaworld and actahort.

Pity. That is the one which interests me. I think I may have a very important collection of seeds judging by the abstract.
