Leave it up to Americans to completely botch the Cannabis industry. Until its legal and their is fair competition, you're competing with yourselves. We don't even know what strains exist due to the varying laws in every state. And I imagine people are hoarding some high quality genetics. I know I am! Unreleased both in name and genetics.

Trademarking at this point is a waste of money.

Great industry we got going here.. NOT.

Wait until we all put the word out. Start called my in with consumer complaints about there actions and boycott there ass. I know I will. Consumers also have rights and a voice. Backfire, I say, and if media wants to run with that torch so be it. Just another way to get Gorrila Toughs new name out there.

As mj gets further into the recreational market it will be promoted and marketed as an agricultural product aspect as well. As the weed moves from the small time shadows to the big time commercial/ag sunlight, the strain names will get added attention as well. If Corporate America gets a wiff(punage intended) of their name being used, make no mistake, they will come calling if they feel there is even a remote resemblance to their product. Corporate America is funny that way.

In an industry that is already worth billions and predicted to rise to be worth mega bills, yea, strain names are gonna be worth fighting over. The Bob Marley family, Jimmie Hendricks brother, Tommy Chong, Willie Nelson, the wife of long dead writer Hunter S Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) and a few other etc etcs are all hooking up with top breeders/growers and developing brands behind their names and that shameless star-powered name game is just the beginning.

Harmless and carefree names from the past wil be found out and their namesakes will want their share, one way or ta other. Girl Scout Cookies look out. Too, there's a killer strain being grown and sold on the w coast - Chiquita Banana...Any bets on how long before the banana brand infringement republic fellas come a calling...?

The up side - Right now, naming or renaming your weed isnt that tough. Weve been using stupid names for years- Monkey balls? Strawberry Dog Shit? It's the actuall strain quality competition itself that should be paid more attention to with all the green rush nimrods clambering to get a piece of the green rush action in one fashion or another...cc

1) you need to be served at your home addy not email

2) only a judge can certify a class action suit

3) a reverse class action suit is super not common

4) gorilla glue & gorilla glue #4 are two different things
a) there is no trademark infringement if we're talking about gg4 nuggets & the strain
b) ggstrains ...hmmm...might have to change that name (imo strictly).
c) the gg4 product of ggstrains... i think is fine as named (imo strictly), still see point 4b

5) there is no patent infringement

6) in a reverse class action suit the : "Defendant classes in cases seeking damages are impractical in most cases because Rule 23(b)(3), the portion of the rule governing actions for damages, requires that class members be given notice and an opportunity to opt out of the case. So, you could theoretically sue a class for damages if you could meet the other criteria, but each defendant would have the right to exclude himself or herself from the case, which could leave you back where you started."

7) who is identified as the (reverse) class? it should say exactly on he docs

8) where was it filed? post the docket # & court location where filed.

or PM me so i can check if its real. you can too. very easy to do.

9) have dispensaries or similar places that carry gg4 been given notice? by law they all need to be notified.

10) ive only seen a reverse case(s) where for example people downloading porn off a torrent type site & the parent company comes after the end users for $. not one of those cases has been successful in a reverse class suit. ive seen success along that line with individual users/individual companies only.

*remember in the usa a company is a person. the glue company have a better chance at suing just josey & they'd still have to prove they asked him nice to change the name & he said fuck off etc...

Someone with social media skills should unite stoners and casual users in a campaign against gorilla glue corp. Backlash.

Also if you change the strain to gorilla jizz then court papers would reflect that. Im sure gg corp would love that association.

no. multidegreed. not in law. let's say my skill level is very advanced paralegal. written letters for friends. helped keep the lights on here. got a friend a place to live there. got a job back or two in arbitration. help friends pass tests even take them so they could get raises, certs, or licensing type stuff too. i wrote papers in college for weed $. on all subjects. yes. for $ in school, i helped high level fakers fake it through life. & i can definitely find out whats what with the gg4 suit. class actions suits are very very specific. even where its filed. cross check all the data. suits are public. class status is made public. & the judge who did it. you should be able to email his/her clerk in 5 seconds of searching on the web. & letters (w seals) should have been sent out not internet docs. the only issue i see is the name "gorilla glue" strains. if its ggstrains, no issue. even if the name is spelt out, what are the damages? how are they manifest? what are the claims? phone calls for dank cuts? get the f*ck outta here. thats not legal grounds for shit (unless you wanna trade me wifi #43 lol). dhn & places like that should all have letters by now.

fuck that, on research for real, im never wrong.

i see no "nathan mowdry" at gorilla glue. no instastupid account. no twitershit account. no crapbook account. no linked-in?

his name isnt even mentioned on the gorilla glue xompany (not nugz) site.
im looking for the parent co right now. nope gorilla glue is the company. its legit an in ohio. only truth i see.

gorilla glue has facebook. i check it no spokes person dude?
i check their twitshit account & i think the spoke douche would be running that no? no mention of dude?

how could dude not have an office at a building i can walk around on google maps?
so the spokes person has no office, no accounts, no mention on the corp management feed on twitshit?

no phone? no email? nada?

for both professionals named in the article? no linkedin? for a high level lawyer? and the spokes-person for a major co?

and who slapped an "injunction". you mean a judge?

look dudes name up should be on the papers u were served.

judge & his/her clerk names DEF on the web.
dont be skert to call the clerks office. fuck that its their job to talk to you.

does judge & addy match up? his clerk number? all cohesive?
that suit should be state class so everything should be OH related.

the only way the glue company could tell dhn anything if 1) a nice letter first & then 2) get federal class status

doubt it.

flaws everywhere.

my payment....im smoking it now : from my cold dead hand u take this cut :

looks like i could be wrong ! talking w/ the right people, they say its real.

i was checking out gorilla glue co. profits & revenue.

they've been on an increase the last few years over companies like loctite. increasing the gg market share with ease & a low budget broad based ad campaign. meanwhile loctite spent $4 milly on one stupid ad alone. loctite outspent on ad & lost in profit/revenue.

looks like the glue company owes josey $ if you ask me.

from feb 2016: "Gorilla VP-Marketing and Innovation Mark Mercurio, a Procter & Gamble Co. alum, declined to comment on why his company is growing so fast, citing a preference to keep a low profile."

fact is the gorilla glue (liquid) is chosen more times in the aisle (at point of sale) than anybody else the last few years... & they dont know why?

fuck im standing in the home store in the glue aisle high on gg4 buying a glue named gorilla glue.

...other than me w/ no law degree ...the universe is perfectly ordered.

Confessions of a stoner -
So, last nite I accidentally dabbed some real Gorilla Glue and then attempted to glue a chair together using Gorilla Glue#4. The end result was I got GG#4 buds stuck to my ass from sitting on the chair and then I couldnt share my story with anyone because my mouth was glued shut...I reckon it coulda been worse. It could have been Strawberry Dogshit...cc
