Wasn't he the guy who got cold cocked by a Hells Angel onstage at Altamont? That's some serious onstage security when the band gets taken down. If only you believed in miracles baby like I do, we'd get by.

Rest in Peace in Rock and Roll heaven man!

J.A. was a favorite band of mine, growing up in turbulent times...

Marty and Jefferson Airplane tought us how to say 'Fuck the establishment", and to live our lives free from the bullshit of societal norms...

I gotta admit, Jorma and Jack were my favorite members of the group, but Marty and the Jefferson Airplane had a major influence on my youthful psyche...
