Hello everyone!

Here in north-east Italy we are starting to get colder days and minimum temperatures dropped from +/- 15° Celsius to a minimum of 4°/5° Celsius and, of course, I’m worried about.

I’m definitely a newbie (although I’m quite old around my 50) and this is my first grow (!), during the grow I was struggling more with high temperatures in July-August, had some damage from a heavy thunderstorm and now suddenly we have cold weather.

Most of the plants are Cannalope haze (4) and should be ready from mid to end October, then there’s a Solomon’s herb and a Moonshine haze, other two plants went bad for several reason, the main reason I think it’s me!

At this point I’m worried about leaving the plants out in the cold or harvest them, could you please advise me?

I think I did a mess with the images attachment, I'm not used with forum upload, I'm not a forum oriented person ;) hope you get the pictures from my album....

I would say they look done enough if the weather is turning... the trichomes are nice and cloudy :tiphat:
Are the calyxes swollen? It’s hard to see..

They do look a bit swollen, the top buds got bigger lately, but not having much experience I wouldn’t be so shure. Anyway, rain is expected to arrive October 2nd I’ll have to decide what to do quite quickly, maybe the best will be harvest even if a little early... I think but please correct me if I’m wrong.

I would take them down before the rain arrives. Glands are milky and Im sure I see a few Amber.
The autumn rain brings rot.

I'm sure if you give them the chop you won't be disappointed.

Yeah they look done enough for some decent smoke - probably could go another week IMO, but wouldn't be a real issue to pull them now if the weather is gonna cause issues.

Hi there!

Today the weather situation has definitely changed, now we expect only some light rain on Monday night for 5/6 hours, so I’m thinking to carry on with flowering stage at least another week, probably I’ll think about cover them with a tarp that rainy night.

I hope to be able to understand when will be the right moment to harvest, being my first grow is not that easy although I’ve read a lot on the web regarding it.

Thanks again to all for your precious support.

I'd chop the one that looks most ready, and let the others go another week.

I've never been let down waiting that extra week... on the contrary; I've found that when they look "ready", they always swell up that extra bit in the following couple of weeks.

Keep notes!!!!

I read mine from last year and "remembered" that letting my sativas go til the end of October really added a lot of bud density and weight.

When the calyxes swell more and the buds become good and dense... they're ready.
