No why is that a thing with superthrive? I’ve used it in the past but usually only on seedlings

Last year I had a trifoliate bagseed plant do something similar, topped itself and main stem reappeared growing out of fan leaf stem:

I have seen it in several different lines through the years. Secondary branching out of the leaf stems and petiole like Chinensis where buds are found growing out of the petiole.
