I did FIM the plants before they went into flowering.

What you very well could be seeing is light burning.

This without a doubt was happening previously.

After this run, I won't be using double ended lights.

Not because they don't work, just not for my setup.

I will go with a 600 watt hps and 600 watt metal halide.

The sweet strains will go under the metal halide.

The gas / skunky strains will go under hps.

I've heard several breeders say sweet strains work best under metal halide.

No bugs in the tent. Just me! :smoke:

I'm glad you're interested in Duke's gear.

I will get detailed smoke reports for each strain from my buddy scott.

I want everyone to know what you will see regarding these genetics, is what they produce in the worst conditions.

This room is not dialed in what so ever.

However, I still plan on getting lots of crystally, stinky, sativa buds.

The problem is I can't get them dialed in.

On the first run, I had them both up to 825 watts.

They started budding and everything just froze.

I reviewed everything and couldn't figured it out.

I finally turned them all the way down to 400 watts and the crystals started appearing everywhere and the entire house stunk.

On the second run, I tried 500 watts on one light and 825 on the other but flowering them a lot earlier and keeping the distance from the light.

Still had nothing but issues.

This round they are at 400 watts for flowering and staying there.

I noticed right away once I turned the lights down, the de-formed leaves went away.

De-formed leaves meaning half of the leaf would grow and just stop.

No yellowing or anything else.

These lights are hung 10 feet above the plants in all of these indoor grow facilities.

I'm not saying people aren't doing great with them in tents.

They have just caused me nothing but issues.

Can't wait to get rid of them honestly.

I had wondered if more was actually better when it comes to HID lights. Of course a 600 or 1000 is unbeatable if the temp and intensity dont cause issues... but space is tight for me and heat is ALWAYS an issue.... but this is all coming from someone who lost a couple of healthy plants to a basement flood...

NOT gonna matter how good my light is if carelessnes kills the grow! Lol... trying to laugh about it.

Your stuff is looking real.. keep up the good.work! :lurk:

The grow room is a work in progress.

Heat isn't an issue where I'm at thankfully.

Just lack of knowledge on double ended lights.

It blows my mind how many stories I've read online of people losing their favorite cuts / plants.

I think the key to keeping things around for years is having a good back up guy.

This means he keeps a healthy cutting of the plant and doesn't pass it out to anyone else.

Maybe when legalization loosens things up, I can find one myself.

I want to get my hands on some LEDS.. it just comes down to pulling the trigger and buying em. Looking forward to seeing that grow of yours! I dont have one in progress sad to say. Got a few beans warming up so we should be able to change that pretty fast!

There shouldn't be near as much scraggle this round.

Getting a little bit better with these screens.

Plants look like they have another two weeks to go, hopefully three.

The buds have gotten a lot fatter the last five days.

Really hoping this continues.

I can see the leaves at the top are getting light burned.

No chance these lights are getting used next round.

Should be plenty of pine bomb, mountain berry, and platinum cake for everyone to try it.

I just ordered the dominion G,and the 6 mil,I’ve got to get my ass up to the post office soon.looking forward to some skunky funk...the flowers look great!

Just smelled the 6 mill buds last night.

They fucking stink. :moon:

Can't describe the smell mainly due to so many strains being in the same room.

I love putting my nose up to the 6 mill plants though.
