Appreciate all the work you're doing. Very few edible companies do more than remelt gummies and add oil.

How are you filling the molds?
Just finished the second recipe with the jolly rancher watermelon an damn does it taste exactly like it. Happy how these came out too with a little adjustment to the recipe. I’ll put it up tonight or tomorrow with some pics of the gummies.

For filling the molds I just went to Joannes an grabbed this silicone bottle to hold chocolate for writing with melted chocolate. I’m looking for a big injector type to use at the moment.

I just made my first batch of “cheeba chews”, get you baked but taste lousy. Can’t wait for your update on taste and any tweaks to your original recipe.
Gonna pick up some of those flavors and preservatives, follow you lead.
Thanks for the info

Getting closer to the potency/flavor trials, just need to try this last recipe tomorrow an figure out between the 3 the adjustments to be made. How are you dosing them, and with what material are you using? Maybe I can give some insight in your process

Recipe 2: Watermelon Jolly Rancher Gummy Bears

Addictive is the word for the flavor on these

Let's jump right into the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 big box jello
1 cup of water
6 tablespoons gelatin
1 teaspoon citric acid
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup glycerin

The glycerin needs to be infused before hand. Also I changed out the cup of water for Melon flavored Gaterade.

The mandatory 20 minute bloom

Working on finishing touches an drying times in this pic. I dried these for 24 hours standing up, then in a tupperware with corn starch I put a handful in at a time an shook hard till they were fully coated. Then they were dropped on a wire basket where they were shook to remove any excess corn starch. I put some in a bag an sealed it to check moisture/caking issues, an it passed with flying colors meaning they were ready for packaging

This recipe was kindly shared by a kind soul in the cannabis community that I've never actually met. Just patients helping patients, and I hope if you take any of this knowledge that you share freely if asked an be the change we want to see in the community.

Thanks, I’m using high quality trim and popcorn buds from my homegrow at a rate of 1 cup coconut oil to 1oz herb.
I decarb in the oven for 35 mins at 240.
After that, into the coconut oil 3 hours at 220-260(crockpot was not very stable).
I added water at the end and cooled in the fridge. Maybe wash the oil more?
I used 1 large 6oz jello, 1oz of plain gelatin 1/2cup oil 1/2 cup water and a 1/2 teaspoon of granulated soy lecithin. Boiled that mix for 5 mins and used one of those chocolate squeeze bottles to put into molds. They hold nice, no problems with wetness. I get ripped off the bears but they stink and taste like bud.

Probably wanna do like 2-3 more water washes to get out more chlorophyll that is giving yoh the green taste. You can try adding some vanilla to tone it down too next time. When I do buds or sugar trim in coconut oil, I wash several times till the end water is almost clear. Hope that helps
