:joint: Nice thread guys keep it rolling. Funny to see a company doing that kind of marketing. I am using PBP and love it to this point. I will let you know when i get past my first flowering in coco.

i've used canna, h&G, pbp, and floranova. floranova works best for me and it happens to be much less expensive.

That pic belongs to Grat3ful H3ad in his coco thread. Not sure the strain....

He is only using GH 3 part and he has it dialed....as usual.

Nice Blockhead! Is it real?

-for the record I am using BioBizz and coco and have no plans to change

This cheese cut was started on formulex, then ionic coco grow, then canna aqua flores and is now on vitalink bloom! I'm just using up leftover nutes from previous grows going back 3 years or so, the plant doesn't mind one bit although I need to flush as I am seeing calcium def starting which is probably down to hydro nutes having higher level of pottasium and its locking out but no biggie. At the end of the day its how you feed the plant that counts...

I have used gh 3 part and house and garden nutes. As far as the nutes go I think that they are pretty close in yield and health. What it comes down to for me is ease of use. So I go with H&G cause you dont have to mix 3 different bottles in different amounts. H&G you just add A&B in equal amounts until you reach your desired ppm, adjust ph and feed OH SO SIMPLE and fantastic results!

Gowan I believe people are referring to the lucas formula when talking about GH 3 part and the lucas formula only uses micro and bloom so only 2 bottles! sounds pretty simple to me.

The ionic coco nutes is 1 part and performs just as well as any other coco nute as far as I can tell.

Well, I use all 3 parts, as GH intended it, only with a formula slightly altered for Cannabis, while those who use the lucas formula only use 2 parts in different ratios.

Here's another vote for GH. I'm only using Flora Bloom and Flora Micro, no need for the grow. I haven't seen a single problem since I started using GH and coco. I just gave them a little Liquid KoolBloom, but I know that they would've finished beautifully if I continued using only Bloom and Micro.

Hey HeadyPete!

You´re using BioBizz on Coco?! I thought about switching to coco, but i want to use an organic fert. Do you have a good growing schedule for BioBizz on coco? Would be nice, if you could post it:) :1help:

Rosy Cheeks said it best:
BioBizz nutrients are organic, so they fall in a category of their own. They're very good, but it's clear that in terms of growth and later yield, they fall behind the mineral based nutrients in terms of growth speed. I've also had what resembles Mg deficiency with BioBizz nutes in veg.

Yeah, I have had those problems as well, but once I started adding 1-2.5ml of bloom with every veg feeding, things look better.
I am still pleased with the end results. I may not get the yield I used to get in Hydro, but the taste IMHO is better.

I would make sure your chart is current. I was using an old bio-bizz chart from before they left GH-and now the bottle dosage and charts have changed...

Good luck.

do not use the H&G Coco, myself and other medical buddies ahve used it with disasterous results. it is meant to be run specifically drain to waste and not recirculating as they have it listed....also the only diff between the coco and the aquaflakes is coco has 1 more Nitrogen but it makes a world of diff. i used botanicare coco with h&g coco and it was horrible, i had to cut down the table and start over

I had great results recirculating HG Aqua Flakes in my coco, but I always use cal mag too.

So far I'm liking the GH Flora 3-part (actually only Micro & Bloom) better than the Canna Coco A+B.

Excellent post, Rosy Cheeks. What is your 3-part formula for coco, using all three bottles?

mixed bag of nutrients

mixed bag of nutrients

my media's a mixed bag since i re-used some promix;
turns out it was low in calcium (5.0 Ph)

I'm about 1/3 used promix, 1/3 Botanicare loose coco & 1/3 Roots
Organic soil w/some Oregonism a few times
and a little Wiggle Worm soil kicker.

I'm using Canna Terra nutrients 1/2 strength grow & bloom with Cannazym ,
some Aggrene liquid lime, epsom salt, Humisolve from BioAg,

Roots Organics HPK & HP2 for bloom booster & a cup of Wiggleworm cast soil per 5 gallon nutrient (tends to fill the pores in the soil mix on top and slows down the feeding a little) but you can loosen the top 1/2" and the feed penetrates better.

If you use organic feed you will fill the air-pore space and may loose some of the benefits of coco's airspace.

My feed is around 1100 PPM (over 2.0 EC) and 5.8 PH with a spec of down to get it under 6.0

I only checked the runoff once and it seemed like they were using the nutrients. I plan to check more often. You should check runoff for PPM and 20% flush every few feedings; let the runoff be your guide.

I don't think I even plain water flushed yet (28 days flowering) but maybe once and everything seems ok.

next crop will be different with some side by side official tests..........

Just my two cents...

I've used the entire Canna CoCo line except for BOOST ( a little expensive???) And I really like Rhizotonic because its cheaper that H&G (im pretty sure)...I paid 50 bucks for the smallest bottle ( normally 70 at my local shop but he gave it to me for 50 as to try it).

Bottom line Canna was easy for me...find whats easy for you.

my girls are soooo happy with H&G, i have tried both canna and the monkey juice, they both worked good, but the H&G line was like having a 5th gear on the hyway, just that bit of extra umpf, kicked my size/yield up, me likey! i do have another line to try, a one part called CNS 17, got some big samples but haven't the urge to change a thing right now. jc
