He wrote the song entitled The Green Manalishi (With The Two Pronged Crown) that Judas Priest later covered.

Was gonna post about this but forgot. One of the best in the blues scene. Easily up there with any like Clapton, Beck, or any of the rock or blues guys around then. Some would rate him above them and after hearing him play, I would not argue with it.

Had some rough years with mental illness and then I think somewhat better later on. RIP
