A friend gave me a 5th edition copy of this book a few weeks ago as a gift and I consumed it almost immediately.
It is a riveting tale of learning to grow guerrilla via trial and error over the course of several years as the protagonist hones his botanical and subterfuge techniques.

What I got from it
1. Have an alibi for being there
2. Have props that confirm the alibi
3. Don't put all your eggs in one basket
4. Grow in the ditch, next to farmland.
