A can of tuna.......

You are hungry, you open the fridge....there's a can of tuna.

Please add your best or favorite (can of) tuna recipes

This is what I made this morning

1 x can of tuna
5 x garlic cloves fried in oil
15 x cherry tomatoes, halved longways
rough cut fresh coriander(cilantro) or fresh basil
1 x spoonful of natural yoghurt
pepper

Combine tuna, ground pepper, tomatoes and herbs together in a serving/mixing bowl. Then lightly stir in the yoghurt and garlic, by gently lifting up and turning the mixture, don't over mix it, leave it chunky, serve with fresh baked bread. If the ingredients have been chilled, serve immediately, if not, cover the bowl and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes, then serve.

sure beats the heck out of the standard mix of mayo, tuna and onion

1 can of tuna + whole wheat pasta + mayonnaise LOL, I eat it like every day its actually kinda of shitty but its cheap, full of protein and gets the job done

you can make it tastier by adding green peppers and italian dressing.

Step one... open can... usually with a knife. Much hacking ensues.

Step two... drain off the excess water.

Step three... add salt.

Serve in can with fork.

HighdesertJoe..............I too like shredded carrots and celery

Stress_test....make two, I'm hungry

Mosca......I've never tried it with halved grapes..but I will...

Hammerhead....get stuffed! ( I say that in the nicest way!)

Jherbs.......you can't beat the classics!

Anti......I prefer canned tuna packed in oil, not water, so I don't pour it away...the oil has flavor.

Iron_lion.......sounds good, but I'd prefer something green in there as well.

What happens if you halve them the other way?

lol....but the ones we get around here aren't round, but are a long egg shape, so if they are not cut longways, the two halves are not the same size........depending on the size and how firm they are, I often cut them into quarters, longways, of course.
