That being said when i look at the place i buy from i see vert bulbs which id prefer .........with built in ballasts and those without, the one i was looking at had a vert placed bulb and reflective material around the bulb.
i believe its a vivosun with a hassle free warranty of a year......i have a spare bedroom id like to get 3 for. I'd appreciate any advice. thankyou

having spent 1000s of hours using hid cooltubes along with parabolic reflectors on bare bulb mh......i love the tech....but i gotta have a better understanding before i start spending money. Ive been told the vert placed bulbs are more efficient .....that makes sense.

I just setup a vertical bulb sunsystems reflector. I heard that the ballasts run relatively hot for 315 watts, so I bought the remote ballast by Prism Lighting Science.
About $400 for reflector, ballasts, cords, Phillips bulb, and hanging ratcheting yoyos.

All of my HID lights have been aircooled and horizontal bulb, so this is slightly different.

Now I wish I had an aircooled model as well to see what I like better.

I can't Daisy chain a non aircooled to my aircooled 600hps.

From most of stuff I could find online, the vertical bulb position has better reflected output.

I like the whiter spectrum, it's easier on the eyes.

I just got this light. I really like it! :woohoo:
